The Best Story (2021)
Beautiful Story
"What a precious story! I loved it. That teenage love, full of insecurity, one-sidedness, and passionate shyness. Who hasn't had a love like that? Both protagonists, wonderful, although, as always, War steals the scene with his performance. War Waranat acts so well, standing out above all and carrying the atmosphere of the scenes on his shoulders. He's very talented, indeed. Regarding the story, the narrative, the music, the images, they all make this little series a gem of 3 episodes. I liked how the story is told in these 3 chapters and how they show us something that is too real; how youthful love develops full of innocence and how, at the same time, it can be cut short by others or by circumstances. In that sense, I liked the ending a lot - even if it's not the ending we would want - just because both manage to know how the other feels. It seemed very romantic to me. Isn't that already a triumph at that age? How many loves remained secret and died with one? What comes next? Life itself: there may be a continuation, a reunion, or remain in memory like that story of the first love that is never forgotten. (In some subtitles it doesn't appear: What Fer wrote on the shirt is 'I still love you'. What Dew writes to him is 'don't forget me when you become famous'). In summary, I highly recommend it. Especially if you're a fan of War, just like me."

Beautiful romantic comedy, which will become one of your favorites.

I loved this series, which presents us with a classic enemy-to-lovers romance but in a very entertaining, touching, and well-developed manner. The chemistry between the protagonists is undeniable, which, coupled with very good acting, truly allows you to immerse yourself and enjoy this story. The main characters, each in their own style, are very appealing, although I must say that War Wanarat shines in portraying the adorable Mark. I loved this character (strong, honest, dignified, very clear about what he wants, very generous in love), far from the typical infantilized and fragile character to desperation that we often see in these productions and which I am very critical of. That, I think, is the imprint that War gives. And as for the content of the story, I would say it shows us a part of life because that's how things can happen when you're young. At times, we can be irresponsible, confusing, even cruel. Or put ourselves in situations that are not good for us, until the moment comes to confront oneself and to grow emotionally.
Lover (2023)
A Gem.
Of all the series I've seen, this one is on another level. This is ART. What a gem of a series. Beautiful beyond words, leaving you wounded and stirred in a sea of beauty. The visuals, the script, the performances, the music that accompanies each scene... One is grateful to watch such series. It's the first series I watched starring Namgoong Min, and I was truly impressed by his acting prowess. He can change expressions in seconds and convey all the emotions. So far, he's the best Korean actor I've seen, and without a doubt, my favorite. What to say about Anh Eun Jin. Exceptional. How her character evolves! Eun Jin delivers a tremendous performance, bringing to life a Gil Chae and her transition from a spoiled girl to a woman, solid and strong like no other. All the actors bring characters to life with such depth that you get to know them and experience them. The direction is top-notch, the music, the essence of drama. You become involved in a wonderful love story set in a context of brutal, raw, real war. You can see the horror and the place of defeat, the painful place of women and the oppressed, along with tenderness, friendship, loyalty, and a love that manages to make the sound of flowers opening heard. Treat yourself and watch it.
I Told Sunset About You (2020)
Simply a wonderful gem
Wonderful. The first 5 chapters are perfect and a story in themselves. It shows us the beauty and acknowledgment of one's own desires, self-acceptance, the transition from childhood to adulthood, the pain and gut-wrenching fear of not being what others expect, but ultimately, the authentic happiness of finding and accepting who we are and the validity of the love we feel. It's truly moving. The second part shows us the complexity of young love facing life. Loving someone and the vicissitudes of love with someone you grew up with is a big theme. Knowing yourself, growing, changing, navigating those changes with the other person is full of challenges. Facing a new, shocking, tempting world confronts and puts tension on that safe, familiar place that shelters you, but which, for that reason, becomes invisible. Kissing that mouth you know by heart versus wondering about those new lips that tempt you is so human. Immaturity, naivety, and inexperience together can make us fall. But being able to distance yourself from the other and from yourself allows us to see that essential thing again. In this series, we find two precious men who are in two very different places regarding love. Each must confront themselves to grow. The growth of both, but above all, the growth of Oh Aew - being able to love oneself with all the dignity that entails - makes this second part a story about maturing and graduating into adulthood. A beauty.
Sunjae Eobgo Tweeeo (2024)
Wonderful: A rollercoaster of emotions
This comedy is wonderful, from start to finish. From the first episode you are taken on a rollercoaster of emotions and you don't get off until the credits lights go out in the final episode. What a wonderful series. It makes you laugh out loud, move you to tears, surprise you in an impressive way chapter by chapter, fall in love with all the characters and, especially, with its two protagonists, who were born to make this series. Byeon Woo-seok is spectacular as the adorable Sun Jae, making it impossible to think of another actor to play this role. He represents it so naturally and with such sweetness that it hurts the smile that appears on your face every time he enters the scene. Kim Hye-yoon, gives life to Im Sol and makes you love her from the moment you see her, get into her story and experience each of her emotions. Special mention for Song Geon-hee, who plays Tae Sung, the second lead who, far from being a problem in the story, is a common and relevant thread for both romance, drama, comedy and bromance. . Adorable. If you add to that a beautiful photograph and a perfect OST, you have a 10 out of 10. Really, next to the best I have seen in its genre. Highly recommended for all those who like this type of series.
