The 48th Annual People's Choice Awards (2022)
Waste of time, rigged
Most of the segments in this award show seemed to have been bought by Disney to promote only their movies.
There were many shows from Netflix & Amazon worthy of nominations but were not included.
The Sandman was not included even though it was loved by fans across the world.
The PCA is rigged & I don't believe the pandemic has anything to do with it.
Those entertainment companies with position & power are the ones currently buying out the nominations of award shows & none of the award shows can be trusted to do justice to all demographics of society equally.
I don't trust that "those nominees who won" were only due to voting of people !!
Sorry, I do not wish to watch PCA ever again.
She-Hulk: Attorney at Law (2022)
Wish I could rate ZERO!!
Again another God awful comic book character poorly inferenced & shoved at the audience. Here are my 👉 review points
Female super hero characters need same line of recognition & work just as male superheros, don't make them in gorm of shows, convert into movies.
This shows MCU is misogynistic & is only making these shows to compensate for Wonder woman like characters.
MCU needs to conduct proper survey across demographics & then hire writers who write close to the actual comic books. Please don't shove us with wishy washy mediocre shows , expect to accept it.
This is end of line for MCU go big or go home.
Blonde (2022)
By far best version of MM
Ana did a absolute best job on essaying a fictionalized version of Marilyn. She is certainly top contender for the Oscar's & I vote for her already to win it. The scenes not just centered around her but focues on supporting characters too. It was well written & directed. Definitely top contender at awards circuit. Ana has refrained from straying to rom com characters & have become a better version of herself in acting. She should continue to roles on similar lines. She suited the sensual tone the character required & did proper justice to it 👏 👍 overall loved the movie, hope she wins awards. All the best to the blonde team.
Werewolf by Night (2022)
Brilliant 👏 Michael Giachinno 👏 👍
Gale Garcia & Michael Giachinno did superb job 👌. Already like Michael as music composer but this was done so so very well. No one can guess he is debut director. WOW!! Am blown away by some of the scenes of a man's struggle to save & protect a girl he has started to like, gives all flutters in belly. Such a new & refreshing take to essay a scene such as that of memorizing a girl deep in core so that in a state of complete savagery the guy can still manage to pull off the sanity by stopping before its too late. Loved all the scenes. Michael you should do more MCU projects. All the best to you.
Thor: Love and Thunder (2022)
Awful yuck movie, hated it 🤢
Taika Waititi should not be doing Thor movies. All characters appeared lunatic & high on something. Wonder the staff dragged weed / pot between shots!! To continue to act in it. Only Jaimie Alexander's role had genuine nuances from 1st movie & her shots were sober. Rest cast were high on drugs. Either Chris can't act or got a free pass from TW to do whatever the hell he wanted. What is the need to make more Thor movies ?? Why can't Marvel invest creativity on newer comic book characters? It deserves only 0 rating, don't waste time on disney+, theaters or elsewhere. Marvel's movie quality is poor.
Lucifer: Manly Whatnots (2016)
Very well crafted episode
Most people who haven't read the comics specifically the 2000 edition volume & it's monthly issues donot realize the nude scenes shown in the entire series were drawn pretty much similar from the comics & in the comics almost in every other page parallels are drawn to the anatomy of angels & that to the humans, those who have read the comics found it dark since it gives a statutory label on the cover page suggesting for mature readers & yes it dies involve Bible & subject matter of God & the existential crisis of angel Samael with the creator, am pretty sure it took a lot for writers to bring in humor into this series & make it appear lighter for everyday viewers to watch it after a tiring hectic day, I suggest viewers to read few pages from the 2000 volume before you jump into conclusions & entirely dismiss the series & its individual episodes due to nudity or other graphic content, once you read you will be amazed to dive into the mindset of Neil Gaiman who is the primary writer of Lucifer & of the award winning bestseller The Sandman 1989 comics where Lucifer as a comic book character originates first, if you are curious it's #issue 4, I love all the bits of this episode & that of the Priest walks into a bar episode 9 as my favorites from Season1 , post Lucifer I am quite intrigued & eager to watch Netflix's Show The Sandman which is airing in 2022 :)
