The Mentalist: Red John (2013)
What an amazing episode!
By far one of my favourite episodes! The series grew so much during the seasons 5 and 6. Deeper characters and stories, a litle more drama to balance with the funny moments. The hunt for Red John, which started in the 2nd half of season 5, was frantic and with many plot twists. I really enjoyed its outcome. Surprising, suspenseful and dramatic. Also, very good acting, especially Simon's and Robin's. It's possible to see how much Jane and Lisbon care about each other something that the early seasons lack. The sequel of episodes that show the search for Red John makes you watch it non stop until you find out who the famous serial killer is.
The Mentalist: Red Hot (2010)
The fist episode that got me really disappointed
It's the first episode that got me really disappointed. That Walter guy is boring and the ending with Lisbon was awkward and put her character in an awful, pointless position. That taxi joke at the very ending made her sound like a prostitute.
It left me with a really bad impression as if something was not right. Sorry, but that one-night-stand didn't go well with the character.
Geesh, sorry guys but I got really, really disappointed with this episode and it made me sad because there are very few series that get my attention nowadays, it's hard to invest time in sthg that starts promising and then make you realise things were not that perfect.
Not to mention that so far I think all the characters need sthg more to enrich them such as a qualification or a special ability. Is Van Pelt a computer expert? Does Agent Cho fight any kind of fight? What about Lisbon herself and Rigsby? And though Patrick is great, the authors exagerate sometimes.
Jurassic World: Dominion (2022)
An amazing ending to the franchise
I love it woth all my heart. Actually, it was clear to me that everyone involved in this project put their heart on it. One of the most respectful things screenwriters and director did was to reunite the old cast and the new one, and I mean really get them all together at some point so that all of them were in this same adventure. That's what to do when you bring an old classic into life. I find it respectful to the fans. And the dinos are great!!! So many amazing sequences I can't pick one as a favourte. The T-Rex cameo appearance in a reference to the old logo was great! I love every line, every reference (full pack fan service) and all the characters - from both trilogies. I'll be forever thankful to Spielberg for guiding this project and have this team to make it real.
Murdoch Mysteries: Devil Music (2022)
I confess I was expecting more
I agree with every word that MS DJH posted above. As a fan of the show since it began, knowing all the struggle William and Julia have been through, was expecting so much more from one of the most important moments of their life. But... *sighs* But I still love the show, and its wonderful characters.
