This show was actually not very good and why was it named Doona when in reality it was about the ML. The male lead portrayed as a wimp who couldn't commit to anything in life. He made the show unbearable and was the same character with no development all the way to the end. All the other actors evolved by the last show accept him. I give a 3 out of 10. The director did a poor job with this show. The art style slow development is a good format if you know how to slowly create and evolve the character. The acting was really good, but cant overcome the bad story by the writer and the director not knowing how to develop the ML.

Can't believe they replace the female lead and male lead and expect the same results. I was waiting for the second season because the first season ending demanded it. How can you not have actors under contract for additional seasons knowing a a second season was going to happen. That's a standard contract for a series in the acting industry. The new leads are ok, but it doesn't have the same feeling without them. I don't think I have ever seen a popular show has 2 leads taken out of a show and come back with replacement actors using the character names. The 2 season two episodes released so far are more of a disappointment. It's not a continuation from the last season episode. So it has created a lot of holes that don't seem to add up. They could fill the holes by end of season two, but doesn't fix the acting situation.

Well this show was so promising until the end of the 9th episode. Yes it's obvious there will be a second season with the ending of part 10. It seems they are setting up a season 2 for him to fall in love with another women. The first season was a slow burn on the FL and ML which was getting good between them. Now the chemistry was destroyed by the story writing. It's a shame because now I really don't have a interest for a season 2 because they can't bring back the FL to create another spark. If they do then they creates a non worthy story which people would be mad for her having an affair. Also you don't want the ML to fall in love with another women because the original chemistry was very good between them. It's a losing story either way. No idea why writers think a crazy twist will make people want more. Simple stories with good chemistry is all you need.

I went into this show thinking this was a hope and dreams show about a young skater. It started off great in the first few episodes. They were sticking to the skating and development of her skill. Then the show took a dark turn into the abyss of darkness. You have best friend of husband going after his wife. You have 18 year old FL going after the husband. It became so twisted I finally had to turn off the show and go watch a normal Kdrama I watched before to try to get this show off my mind. Well that didn't work because I am writing a review just to blow some steam. So anybody who thinks they are going to watch a nice show about the struggles of a young ice skater. Then run away from this show because the writer and director took this to a new level of weirdness.

I felt the director removed scenes to keep it under 30 minutes an episode and really hurt the show in the end. Also they had to inject two other couples into the show and became a cluster show. The emotions from the characters felt like they didn't believe what they doing on this show. Since they created so many side stories it was the downfall of the main characters who never really were able to develop an emotion to the audience. The Chinese romances are pumped out like water now and so many to choose from. I have only run into a couple that I would call excellent shows with good character development. The Taiwanese and Korean shows are much better 95% of the time.

I will say this show started off pretty good. The male lead started off being a strong character going after what he wanted as a rich man. Well that is how I expected the show to develop and then he gets tamed a little as he develops his relationship with the female lead. Oh no it became a total 360. By the end of the show he ended up putting on the girl pants and she ended up being the man. The director was obviously trying to make a point that men shouldn't be men anymore. The first 3 episodes I thoroughly enjoyed the series and had to finish it off since I was already committed. I didn't even need to watch the last episode because it was obvious how it was going to conclude and who would rise up to be the man in this relationship. I give 3 stars because the first 3 episodes were good. .

I just completed episode 8 and it's time for review. I really tried to like this show. The story is actually really good and give credit to the writer. The issue is the lack of direction on how to handle the story. I think the director is trying to create a very artistic show, but it was too slow. You want the drama to build up with each episode, but it stays flat throughout. Watching the main characters was emotionless and with no connection. The side stories were just as emotionless. You would get to the end of an episode thinking ok this ending will get this show going the next episode. In the end it never amounted to anything. The acting was pretty good except the pharmacist. I think they put him in for looks and not the acting.
