Obviously most people like this show so I think it is worth watching but I didn't like it. I thought it was forgettable and tried way too hard to force drama. Stuff happens for no real reason and there isn't much build up so it's not effective. Any tension created is usually resolved in the same episode or the next, so there's nothing to keep you watching. It's also not really that funny. It tries to be a comedy and drama but falls short of both. Also I could barely sit through the parts where they started to sing. By the last season I was just waiting for it to be over and I didn't want to watch it but felt like I had to finish it. I didn't like any of the characters except Roy Kent so I didn't care what happened to them.

I didn't like it much at all but I gave it 6/10 because a lot of people like it so I do think it's worth trying.

If you want a comedy-drama like this, watch Bojack horseman. It's similar to this but it understands how to use tension so it's much more effective.

If you want a better drama, watch breaking bad and better call Saul.

If you want a better comedy, watch Seinfeld, curb your enthusiasm, or always sunny.

This episode is the typical feel-good Christmas episode about giving and cheer. It's a decent and charming episode, but it doesn't really have a lot of humor and it feels overly positive, like something you would find in a Hallmark movie. The plot is a little lacking, but the characters make up for it. I really like Roy Kent in this episode, and I guess it's nice to see everyone getting along for once. There are some pretty good moments in this episode, but I'm not a fan of super positive ultra optimistic stuff without much substance. It just feels like they were scared to take a risk, so they made a generic Christmas episode that they knew would do pretty well but didn't have anything to make it exceptional.
