Emma Stone Shines in 'Poor Things': A Thunderous Exploration of the Human Soul
17 February 2024
It's difficult to express in words how I see the world after this movie. "Pobres Criaturas" delivers masterfully the essence of the human soul. The being that is born and must live in the world, and the way it lives in its pure innocence, in its pure naivety, and lives it thunderously. Indeed, living above all, living amalgamated with will, the very Id, the unfolding of desire, the object a in practice. Emma Stone is wonderfully marvelous, possibly her best performance; they gave her the stage and the world, and she delivered the same to us. What brilliance, Emma, take your crown because it's yours. The direction is brilliant and bizarre; I would like to know what goes on in that gentleman's mind. Without further ado, this modest viewer infinitely appreciates this worldwide masterpiece of human art, which for my taste, is the best cinematic feature of the 21st century.

Lancelot Emerges: A Game-Changing Moment
10 February 2024
This episode was VERY awesome. Personally, I'm a die-hard fan of the franchise; I've always loved Nanatsu no Taizai, read everything, and then watched the canonical movies, in addition to having read the Lancelot one-shot, so combining all of that, I already knew since the fox appeared that Sin was Lancelot. But at the same time, I kept trying to put myself in the shoes of a viewer who didn't know any of this and was witnessing it firsthand. It's really interesting how Nakaba manages to make a character well-developed and hyped. Lancelot is really cool, and his debut in the anime was amazing. My only question is, if he could already teleport everyone to Liones, why didn't he do it before? Anyway, his appearance was awesome, and the Shining Road was truly impressive.

Succession Finale Delivers Stellar Closure, Sarah Shines, Brian's Presence Felt
8 February 2024
Warning: Spoilers
That old feeling when you finish a series and don't know what to do next... hahaha. But besides that, excellent ending, definitely one of the best series endings of today. Few people know how to end their long works, and thankfully Succession managed to do so. In the end, Minerva (Shiv) voted for her husband and offspring, after seeing how much she couldn't stand Ken. Now, speaking of Culkin, I didn't see anything too impressive to give him that EMMY, I think it was because Jeremy won before. Now Sarah really does a good job, she's a fantastic actress. Very good series, excellent final episode, and Brian is missed, that's why he still appears.

Captivating Cinematic Homage: A Faithful Rendering of Batman's Iconic Aesthetic in the Acclaimed Film, with High Hopes for the Sequel.
4 February 2024
I remember that when this film was announced, I somewhat "challenged" myself to watch the animated series from the 90s, which is still considered the best portrayal of the Batman character. I did this both to gain more insight into the character and to see if there would be any references or connections. However, there were none, apart from the aesthetic resemblance. It is noteworthy that the film's aesthetics are truly faithful to those of the comic books and the 90s series. The movie is highly commendable; I thoroughly enjoyed watching it, and I hope that the next installment proves to be equally impressive.

An Unconventional Anime: From Initial Skepticism to Acknowledging its Anime Awards 2019 Triumph
4 February 2024
I started watching this anime because a friend had told me it was really good. However, I didn't go beyond the opening sequence. After some time, I decided to give it another try but couldn't get past the first episode. One day, while watching the Anime Awards, I was shocked to see that it had won the Anime Awards 2019 for the best anime of the year. Intrigued, I decided to watch the entire series and just finished it today.

Honestly, I found it to be good, with a substantial amount of explicit content that I find appealing. I enjoyed the anime overall, as it seemed to offer a reinterpretation of the original manga with additional new content. I was quite surprised to learn that it had almost become a hentai; although I personally think it should have been one, as it would have piqued my interest even more. However, I doubt it would have won the best anime of the year award had it taken that direction..

Slow Start, Compelling Finish - Series Continues to Impress Despite Flaws
27 January 2024
Look, this episode was pretty boring, to be honest, the most boring one I've seen so far. But the end of the episode had a pretty interesting conflict. I think Romulus is becoming more and more like his father, maybe even worse. We'll see in the next episodes. The flaws for me are the pace of the episode, which is slow, and the lack of elements to keep you engaged in the episode's plot. But other than that, there are only compliments, it might be the most boring episode, but it still has good actors, good characters, good direction, and developing plots that draw us into the next episode. The series really didn't win some Emmys for nothing. In fact, this cool curiosity about Connor's arm being broken in real life is interesting.
