Role Play (2024)
Interesting Plot; Perfectly Executed
Kaley Cuoco plays an assassin seeking an out from her profession who gets herself, her husband & her family entangled in a delicate situation.
The movie is quite immersive/engaging - makes you think/feel of what you'd do if stuck in a sequence of tense, life-threatening (& heartbreaking) situations.
Both lead actors & the antagonist (Nielsen) are quite believable in their dialogue delivery. The scenes are edited in with adequate time - nothing feels irrelevant or unnecessary. All the subplots coalesce into a good, realistic & engaging story with well acted out parts.
Personally, I found the plot & it's enaction quite stimulating. I'd totally love if they make a sequel to it, exploring feasible subplots that could occur to the family - now that her secret's out in the open - probably the couple could start their own secret service agency; abscond to Canada & start their lives afresh only to have a new share of problems headed their way; live the rest of their lives (ordinarily) in Germany until one of the kids grows up to become famous & write about their mother's true identity only to invite trouble due to her colored past; etc.
I'd totally recommend this to intuitive thinkers/feelers as a good, engaging indie movie.
