Season 1 was a new refreshing take on the 30-something at loose ends--she gets advice & life lessons from a dead person as she is writing their obituary. Gina Rodriquez is appealing & funny; she & the premise made for a great 20 minute diversion. Except for her roommate, the rest of the supporting cast runs from forgettable (wine shop owner) to annoying (her boss). Recommend Season 1.
And that's the problem with Season 2. Now the "Advice from Dead People" concept is relegated to the pre-credits sequence & the rest of the show revolves around lame situations with the tedious supporting cast. They added Raymond's Brad Garrett to the cast. Bad move; neither funny or charming, he drags the show down even father. Skip Season 2.
