Many plot holes
25 May 2024
Following the plot of Kirsty having suffered the loss of her father and then being admitted to a sanatorium, she begins to devise a plan to rescue her father from that unknown dimension.

From senseless displays of affection, doors to the outside world opened in different parts of the earth, which do not fit with the explanations in the first film, the senseless death of Julia and Uncle Frank (again), how they tricked the doctor Channard in the final scene.

The film leaves a lot to intuition and to assuming what could be, but the reality is that many of the scenes do not make sense and do not relate to situations that occurred in the first film.

We know that it ends "well" with our protagonists saved by the bell, where by the way another event happens that should be explained in the next film.

Overall, good scenes and shots at some points in the movie, decent acting, but a bad plot that could have been better developed.

It is a film with a different concept of horror, which if it had been directed differently, could have had greater success.

The lack of common sense is very clear throughout the film from the decisions made by Leonora to the end that is decided through a "performance" which gives it a mediocre ending because it makes Leonora look like the "heroine" in a situation that does not warrant it.

A villain with a meaningless purpose, who went through a tragic situation that, if it had not happened, literally would not have affected the final outcome of the film at all, but they made it seem like it was a vital point in the story.

Overall the performances were decent, I repeat, the concept of an open space theater show is new and could have had a better horror performance than it did.
