TREMENDOUS EXAMPLE OF WHAT MADE THIS SHOW GREAT!
15 September 2018
To see a great example of quality TV just watch Season 16, Ep. 3 of Law & Order "Ghost." One of my faves of an iconic series that delivered quality for 20 years. Raymond J. Barry as the grieving father is magnificient. Anyone with children that watches this will be moved and wordlessly utter a wow at the ending....check it out!

House of Cards: Chapter 15 (2014)

15 Episodes in and starting to get disappointed...

Is it me or every character in the show not too bright? Only Frank Underwood knows how to wield and use power? He has become the President's most trusted adviser...why? The President has no loyal allies in his cabinet? He disdains the last VP, but holds Underwood up as infallible? There seems to be a lack of believable subplots. If Underwood was sooo much more clever than everyone else, how did he not see his snubbing as Secretary of State? Also, a top-notch dramatic story needs to have conflict. The lone newspaper reporter battling against insurmountable odds hardly makes it worthwhile. I hope it improves soon as I am watching it on NetFlix.
