Is this the most well written Batman story? NO
Is this the most visually entertaining Batman story? YES
I can understand that for DC fans, this movie might be a bit out there. It doesn't follow traditional Batman formats or stories, and that frustrates many fans.
But if you can look at this film with open mind as a standalone piece of work, then you will appreciate how beautifully creative it is. The animation style is so unique and detailed! The concept design for costumes, vehicles and buildings are so creative and well thought out, that alone deserves 10 stars.
