Halt and Catch Fire (2014)
Addictive and Timeless
A show with one of the best intros I've ever seen; this was a prelude of what was to come. Off the bat, the entire 80s nostalgia hits you hard. Lee, Gordon, and Cameron are the ultimate alter-egos and boy did the producers hit the nail on the digital head. The show has everything from corporate intrigue, personal rivalry, clashing visions, and historic technological developments. Over all I loved how they were able to stay loyal to the historic era from clothes to cars to hairstyles. To conclude this is a highly addictive story and character development is excellent. Very much looking forward to season 2, this is a must watch!!!
Prison Break (2005)
Absolutely Stunning!! Suspense on Crack!!
Oh My God!! What an amazing series, wonderful writing, directing, plot, setting, music, too much to list. Once you get into this series it will take your breath away. The lead characters are flawless, Scofield, Marone, Burrows, Bellick.
I have to admit some parts of the series were totally unrealistic but most others were brilliant! I have never seen a motion picture less predictable than this one. Every time you think you know what will happen, Wrong!, think again. The good guys don't always win and the bad don't always loose. You will absolutely fall in love with Scofield's character and his tormented morality, how can an angel survive in a world of demons, the fittingly named Michael struggles with this question the entire series.
Honestly I thought things would slow down after Season 1 or 2 but honestly they speed up. Each season is unique and explosive in its own way especially the last few episodes per season.
If you are looking for a mind-blowing, intelligent and fantastically suspenseful series where the script is never boring DO NOT, I repeat DO NOT overlook Prison Break, it's a MUST WATCH!!
