WWE Great American Bash (2004)
Worst SmackDown! Pay Per View of 2004
I though that WWE Great American Bash 2004 was one of the worst WWE Pay Per views that we have seen in a long time. And I was right, thank-god I didn't spend my hard earned money on this. I watched it for free via the Internet streaming.
1. John Cena defeated. Booker T, Rene Dupree, Rob Van Dam in a Fatal 4 Way Elimination Match to Retain the United States Championship. This match was a very bad opener.
Rating: 4/10 ( D - )
2. Luther Reigns w/Kurt Angle defeated. Charlie Haas w/Miss Jackie This should have been on SmackDown!, Velocity not Pay Per View.
Rating: 1/10 ( F )
3. Rey Mysterio defeated. Chavo Guerrero to retain Cruiserweight Championship. A very great match indeed lots of action too. Best match of the night.
Rating: 7/10 ( C + )
4. Kenzo Suzuki w/Hirokio defeated. Billy Gunn Like I said for Haas vs. Reigns match this should have been on SmackDown! not Pay Per View.
Rating: 0/10 ( F )
5. Sable defeated. Torrie Wilson in a average divas match. Before Sable was in a bathtub wtf.
Rating: 0/10 ( F )
6. Mordecai defeated. Hardcore Holly in a not so good match. This should of also been on SmackDown! or Velocity.
Rating: 2/10 ( F )
7. John "Bradshaw" Layfield defeated. Eddie Guerrero to win the WWE Championship in a Texas Bullrope Match. This match was second best in my mind. I thought Eddie had won but then General Manager Kurt Angle dropped a big bomb and showed a replay of JBL touching the last turnbuckle before Eddie did, new Champion JBL.
Rating 6/10 ( C )
8. The Undertaker defeated. The Dudley Boyz w/Paul Heyman in a Concrete Crypt Handicap Match, this match was really dull and boring, for the first time ever an Undertaker match turned out to be garbage.
Rating: 3/10 ( F )
Taker would then crypt Bearer in concrete.
Overall: Worst PPV of 2004.
The Great American Bash 2004: 3/10 ( F )
WWE Bad Blood (2004)
A Very Good RAW Pay Per View
2004 RAW Bad Blood was probably the best Pay Per View near the half of the year.

4. Trish Stratus w/Tyson Tomko defeated. Lita, Victoria and Gail Kim in a Fatal 4 Way Match for the Womens Championship
Rating: 5/10 ( D )

Rating: 3/10 ( F )
6. Chris Benoit defeated. Kane in his second match of the night WTF? Still Champion Benoit
Rating: 5/10 ( D )
7. Triple H defeated. Shawn Michaels in a Hell in a Cell Match which was the match of the night. And it nealry took 50 minutes WOW! Best Match on the card by far.
Rating: 9/10 ( A )
Good: Hell in a Cell Match between HHH and HBK Randy Orton taking on Shelton Benjamin
Bad: Eugene's match with The Coach Jonathan Coachman.

WWE Judgment Day (2004)
"Talent used very well" , But did not expect to see it this bad.
I thought this SmackDown! Pay Per View was probably the best "Talent Used" one of the year for the SmackDown! brand. By that I mean they had good talent on the show.
1. Rob Van Dam and Rey Mysterio defeated. The Dudley Boyz in a excellent opening match on Judgement Day.
Rating: 6.6/10 ( C + )
Kurt Angle pops up from something and he says "If Torrie Wilson loses tonight then she will be FIRED!"
2. Torrie Wilson defeated. Dawn Marie in a match that was kind of good at times but both were just used for eye-candy.
Rating: 4/10 ( D - )
3. Mordecai defeated. Scotty 2 Hotty in is debut. Mordecai should have feuded with someone like Booker T or something, I hate Wrestlers like 270 pounds sqaushing Cruiserweights.
Rating: 4/10 ( D - )
4. Charlie Haas and Rico w/Miss Jackie defeated. Hardcore Holly and Billy Gunn in a Comedy Match by Rico, Rico made me laugh so much. Haas and Rico retain the Tag Titles at Judgement Day.
Rating: 5/10 ( D )
5. Chavo Guerrero w/Chavo Classic defeated. Jaqueline to win the Cruiserweight Championship in an Intergender match. This match was pointless. After the match Chavo Sr. insults Jacqueline and kicks her in the tummy a few times.
Rating: 4/10 (D - )
6. John Cena defeated. Rene Dupree to retain the United States Championship in a very average match/
Rating: 5/10 ( D - )
7. The Undertaker w/Paul Bearer defeated. Booker T Was expected to be one of the best matches on the card, but yet failed again, even though the Talent was used well on this PPV.
Rating: 5/10 ( D -)
8. John "Bradshaw" Layfield defeated. Eddie Guerrero via Disqualification for the WWE Championship. I just have one word to describe this match: "Blood!" Lots of Blood was spilt in this match with Eddie taking his aggression out on Bradshaw.
Rating: 6/10 ( C )
Judgement Day 2004 Rating: 5 / 10 ( D )
The Talent was used great on this PPV but the matches lacked everything.
WrestleMania XX (2004)
"Where it all Begins Again?"
2004's Wrestlemania XX (20) tagline was "where it all begins again" Firstly I'd like to state that WWE did put a lot of matches on the grandest stage of them all. But aye who cares this is WWE's version of the Superbowl.
1. John Cena defeated. The Big Show to become the New United States Champion in a slow and crappy opener to the Show.
Rating: 4/10 ( D -)
2. Fatal 4 Way Tag Team Match for World Tag Team Championship Booker T and Rob Van Dam defeated. Garrison Cade and Mark Jindrak, The Dudley Boyz (Bubba Ray and D-Von) and La Résistance (René Duprée and Rob Conway)to retain the World Tag Team Championship.

Rating: 6/10 ( C )
5. Torrie Wilson and Sable defeated. Miss Jackie and Stacy Kiebler in a Playboy evening Gown match, this was pointless.
Rating: 2/10 ( F )
6. Chavo Guerrero w/Chavo Classic defeated. Ultimo Dragon, Shannon Moore, Jamie Noble, Funaki, Nunzio, Billy Kidman, Rey Mysterio, Tajiri, and Akio in a Cruiserweight Open and retained his Championship.
Rating: 6/10 ( C )

Just too many Matches on the card and too many stars used on 1 show. But still if you haven't seen it you better get it.
WWE Backlash (2004)
Benoit still Champion!
Raw had its First Pay Per View of 2004 in Canada. Benoit's hometown and what a better way to come back then to show your hometown that you can be the best.

Rating: 6/10 ( C )
2. Jonathan Coachman defeated. Tajiri in a very bad match. Eugene interfering was just a comedy.
Rating: 4 /10 ( D - )

WWE No Way Out (2004)
Viva La Raza
WWE SmackDown!'s first Pay Per View of the Year in 2004 turned out to be the best night in sports entertainment to this date. This Pay Per View was well done by the SmackDown! brand and its Superstars.
1. Too Cool (Rikishi and Scotty 2 Hotty) defeated. The Basham Brothers (Doug and Danny Basham) and Shaniqua in a Intergender 2 on 3 Handicap Match for WWE Tag Team Championship.
This match to kick things off was Kind of boring but then I really got stuck into once Rikishi hit Shaniqua with that nasty rear end of his. Too Cool picks up the win a rather bu faulty opener.Rating: 5/10 ( D )
2. Jamie Noble defeated. Nidia in an Intergender Blindfold match Turns out that Noble would have to wear the blindfold. Noble won which wasn't surprising but what a girl basher. This match should have been saved for SmackDown!, not Pay Per View maybe even Velocity.Rating: 3/10 ( D - )
3. The World's Greatest Tag Team (Shelton Benjamin and Charlie Haas) defeated. The APA (Farooq and Bradhshaw) in a good tag team contest which ended with a crappy ending.Rating: 6/10 ( C )
4. Hardcore Holly defeated. Rhyno in an Intense but good one on one match.Rating: 6/10 ( C )
5. Chavo Guerrero w/ Chavo Classic defeated. Rey Mysterio w/Jorge Paez to win the Cruiserweight Championship in a decent match.Rating: 6/10 ( C )
Goldberg makes an appearance in the crowd Lesnar and GM Heyman come out Goldberg spears Lesnar then the cops take him away. I thought Goldberg would be coming to SmackDown! at this point.
6. Kurt Angle defeated. The Big Show and John Cena in a great Triple Threat Match.Rating: 7/10
7. Eddie Guerrero defeated. Brock Lesnar to win the WWE Championship in an Excellent match. Eddie had some assistance from Goldberg whom came out again and Speared Lesnar. A great match. Rating 8/10 ( B )
Eddie becomes the WWE Champion for the first time.
Overall Rating: 7 out of 10 ( B - )
Royal Rumble (2004)
Passable Rumble
The Royal Rumble of 2004 was a Very passable Royal Rumble Indeed.
My Ratings:
1. Evolution (Batista and Ric Flair) defeated. The Dudley Boyz to retain World Tag Team Championships in a Tag Team Tables Match
This match was okay opener but could have gone for longer time period.
Rating: 4/10 ( D- )
2. Rey Mysterio defeated. Jamie Noble w/Nidia to retain Cruiserweight Championship
I thought Cruiserweight Matches were a cool type of concept but this match bored me to death. And with the whole Nidia being blind thing was just stupid. Mysterio picks up the win in a very sloppy Cruiserweight match.
Rating: 3/10 ( D- )
3. Eddie Guerrero defeated. Nephew Chavo Guerrero Jr (with Eddie's Brothers , Chavo's Dad Chavo Classic) in a Family Feud which exploded at the Royal Rumble. The match had some good action in it with Eddie Picking up the win.
Rating: 6/10 ( C+ )
4. Brock Lesnar defeated. Hardcore Holly to retain the WWE Championship This was Hardcore's only shot at a major World Championship and this had been boiling in the pit ever since Lesnar injured Holly in 2002. A short boring, dull match, the hype did disappoint.
Rating: 3/10 ( D- )
5. Triple H fought Shawn Michaels in a Last Man Stadning Match to a Double Count- Out. This match was really well executed and I liked the fact that in the promo's or Video Packages they had the History of DX too and that this was a match in the ages.
Rating: 7/10 ( B )
6. Chris Benoit last Eliminated The Big Show to win the 2004 Royal Rumble. Benoit had lasted around 62 minutes and won the Royal Rumble. This was a very precious and proud moment for the WWE. Benoit going to Wrestlemania to Main Event it for the first time!
Rating: 8/10 ( B+ )
Overall: A Very Passable Royal Rumble to kick things of for 2004 year.
Rating (Overall) : 5 out of 10 ( D )
