Shalene Portman, the Significant Director
22 January 2012
The original concept for this movie came from and was conceived by Shalene Portman, Original Producer, Director, and main Writer of this independent escapade. The original rough that I was allowed to view was in all comparison, the next, in combined thought My big fat Greek wedding/El Mariachi/ and Clerks all rolled into one. I thought her efforts alone thwarted all of them with the casting and crewing of the likes of up-and-coming talents of Donny Boaz, Stephen Brodies, and Stephanie Young, (whom I happen to likened to the talent of Teri Garr, whom at last note was suffering from MS.) I miss Teri so much in the limelight this Ms. Young does a great resemblance to her here. A real laugh riot. Especially her use of the word Moxy. Just really adorable actress that one. Instant charisma on screen with a first time awkwardness that puts all new Directors to shame. This film Works!!! Excellent new artists, great show entirely. Thrilled to be in the audience for this one!

I wanted to note along with hot, hot , hot up- and- coming young artist from the Dallas area and surrounding metropolis, I failed to mention the one professional that helped make Shalene Portman's Indie dream come through. This picture could not have been made without the hard work, dedication, and commitment by the leading actress Brittany Joyner. Brittany's commitment to excellence and a solid sound performance, made this film fly. A heartwarming lovable corner-the-market on cute, with her antics and displays of 'I love you' can't let go neuritis's, solidified this performance as a more- than-cutesy contender of chick flick. But a really well thought out first round A+ well done indie-girl upstart. Brittany Joyner, you'll remember her name.
