The Lie (2018)
Very unrealistic premise
Right from the start, Kayla didn't have to tell anyone that she pushed her friend. They could have called 911 and said "she fell." No one could know she was pushed.
Terminator: Dark Fate (2019)
Is Linda Hamilton being held hostage?
Why would Linda Hamilton and Arnold participate in this abomination?
Through the entire film I could only think that Linda Hamilton sounds like a 3 pack a day smoker.
Deany Bean is Dead (2018)
Proof that ANYONE can get a movie made
If you've been looking a film based on a poorly written, completely unrealistic script, this is the movie for you. This movie is so dumb, they added a narrator to explain it to you.
Anarchy U.S.A. (1966)
The story of today told 55 years ago
It's shocking how much of this applies to what is happening in the U.S. today. I wish my kids would watch these old documentaries, but they won't.
Last Man Standing (2011)
The Laugh Track is Annoying
This is one of the rare shows that I actually laugh at. Not just grin but really laugh. I'm glad it was picked up by FOX and I'm glad that the original Mandy hasn't had much acting work since quitting. The tall blonde sucks but I'll take her over a traitor any time. One change I would make is, I would remove the canned laughter. The show doesn't need it and it's outdated and cheesy.
Rampage (2009)
I didn't expect to like this movie
This movie is great despite being a bit unrealistic.
What's not to love about a guy going on a senseless killing spree?
I was disappointed when he left the beauty shop without killing all those women, but then he returned and shot the hell out them. Awesome!
Lost (2004)
I can't believe there are so many positive reviews
This is one of the dumbest shows I have ever seen. People just don't behave this way in real life. People don't talk to each other like this, they don't interact with one another in this way.
Cherry 2000 (1987)
I had to go back and re-watch this.
It had been so long since I watched this movie that I almost forgot what a terrible actress Melanie Griffith was. She was worse than Keanu Reeves and as bad as Nicholas Cage.
Tesla (2020)
This is a stupid attempt at making Tesla look the fool
The horrible actor who played Tesla imagined that he had only one facial expression and always spoke in a low, gravelly, Batman-like grumble.
This movie is trash.
The 41-Year-Old Virgin Who Knocked Up Sarah Marshall and Felt Superbad About It (2010)
Award Winning?
I feel as though I deserve an award for watching this entire movie.
Death Wish (2018)
Pew Pew Pew
This is a good old fashioned shoot 'em up. It's as fun and pointless as the original.
No Time for Sergeants (1958)
Timeless Comedy
Watching this 62 years after it was made and it's still hilarious.
Vicky Cristina Barcelona (2008)
Scarlett Johansson in her mid 20s and Penélope Cruz in her mid 30s
Javier Bardem lived the dream of every man when this movie was made.
Little Miss Sunshine (2006)
What is wrong with people?
I consider myself to be pretty liberal but, a ten year old stripping to "SuperFreak" is just too much.
True Romance (1993)
Very enjoyable movie but...
I enjoyed this film despite the fact that it was written by someone who apparently never met a prostitute or experienced being the subject of a felony arrest. The ending left me with one question; How did Christian Slater and Patricia Arquette produce a mulatto child?
Tears of the Sun (2003)
Tears of the Sun II will be the court martial of Bruce Willis' character
This movie starts off good enough, the Lt. uses a little light deception to get the Doctor onto the bird but, then for no reason he decides to disobey his orders, abandon the mission and go on some humanitarian crusade which gets scores of people (including several of his own men) killed. Kind of silly if you ask me. I would think the helicopter drivers would have simply ignored the "turn around" order since it was not lawful or, the other team members would have intervened and refused to participate in such silliness.
But then again, if you left it up to me, the movie would have been about 22 minutes long and there wouldn't have been any scenes with gunfire.
Unhappily Ever After (1995)
It's not a knock-off, it's a parody.
I see that people think this show was imitating Married with Children, it was making fun of MWC and a lot of other shows of the time. I really enjoyed it when it was current and, I enjoy it during the 2020 pandemic lockdown.
One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest (1975)
We are all R.P. McMurphy and we have all known a Nurse Ratched.
Let me begin by confessing that I think of Jack Nicholson as the greatest actor of my lifetime and, this film showcases some of the greatest talents of the 20th century. I am certainly not worthy of criticizing this movie and I cannot think of anyone who is worthy. But the story is timeless. At some point in your life you have been R. P. McMurphy, a sane person in an asylum, and you have had to deal with a Nurse Ratched, an average person who has allowed themselves to be corrupted by undeserved power or authority.
If I was to be stranded on an island with a DVD player and only one disk, I would choose this movie.
Joker (2019)
This movie couldn't hold my attention
I found it to be too long and drawn out. This seemed like an over-complicated remake of Falling Down. But, it is well acted and produced.
I fell asleep all three times I watched it so, I don't know how it ends.
Gringo (2018)
Don't take this movie too seriously and you'll love it.
Great performances by everyone
All of the performers in this dark comedy did a wonderful job. I love Charlize Theron and she really shines in this film.
