Very Interesting Film
13 February 2017
Based loosely on the documentary The Daniel Project, I saw this at the premiere night in Edinburgh and it certainly came over very well on the big screen. The story-line is quite complicated and you really need to pay attention. Within the cinema environment the film had a pretty tense look and feel and plenty hidden gems for the conspiracy theory fans. For a low budget film it has a fair amount of high quality production feel and the music and sound design work very well. Couple of the actors are a bit wooden otherwise there were some good characters throughout. Would have been nice to see the story-line given more work but all in all a very thought-provoking film that clearly touches many topics that have an affect on our lives today.

The Daniel Project (2012 TV Movie)

A good overview of a complex subject
13 February 2017
The documentary is clearly made from a polemic viewpoint but that's okay, quite common in film making. There are enough very badly made TV programs from an opposing and often confused viewpoint. Bizarre to see some of the ridiculous comments from those who are so-offended by this film? Eschatology is an astonishing topic and involves years of study and research and I know personally that this documentary has had a positive impact on people around the world - causing individuals to study biblical texts for themselves. That is surely a good thing. For a film about a very complex topic that needed to meet TV regulations, it was well made, particularly for its time. As the film, or should I say - The Bible states... only the wise will understand.
