I tried, I really did...
28 February 2024
I tried to enjoy, it is my kind of thing, but I cannot watch, my life will expire before anything happens. A great cast, a great concept, but it has to be the slowest story I have ever witnessed. Painfully, excruciatingly slow. It is also, unbelievably boring. When I watch fiction, I expect to be entertained, not to watch endless cast members slowly making their way around nothing in particular. I cannot put into words how bad this is. To think of continuing to trudge my way through the stagnant storyline fills me with dread. Not something I can do. I'm going to stop here and never revisit this, I need more. I need something.

Groan!
6 February 2024
Wow, the first episode was awesome, I thought, this is going to be great! Silly me, the subsequent episodes were just farcical, plain silly, or just plain boring. Episode 5 should have been good, but so much time was wasted on their rapid and unreal, relationship. Their unbelievable relationship does not ring true at all. The casting itself has its problems. I'm actually typing this as it's playing on Prime, because I just don't care what is happening on the screen. All in all, an opportunity lost. This could have been so much better. I seriously doubt it will see a second season. I'm not sure I'll bother with any more, it just does not move along fast enough, and is way too flippant.

Bored to tears!
25 January 2024
Dear, dear me! What a huge disappointment, and from such a great cast. You would expect more.

I love Thomas Brodie-Sangster and David Thewlis, but I have seen all this, time and again, before. Nothing new here at all. That, and the near constant, never ending flashbacks, which took up more than half of the two episodes I watched only served to make me want to leave it far behind. The only saving grace was Maia Mitchell, stunning to look at, and my kinda girl. I wanted to enjoy this, and I really tried, but I really am utterly bored by it. Really have been let down by this. Sad, very sad! Please, no second series.

Pretty bad!
25 October 2023
I watched 1.5 episodes and decided, what was billed as a Drama/Horror is actually more of a comedy. I was disappointed mainly because it has a few of my favourite actors, namely. Bruce Greenwood, Carl Lumbly and Carla Gugino. This fact did little to lift my opinion, I just did not like it, or them much. I was a little afraid to even watch it, as a film of the same name had scared me half to death some years ago. As this comes across more as a comedy, it absolutely does not. All in all, I am sorry I even tried. I had high hopes, silly me. There is so little on any streaming service worth watching, indeed more and more older items are being added. The writers/actors strike not helping I guess.

Entirely predictable
20 October 2023
I have never played the game, so had no pre conceived ideas about this show. I watched two predictable episodes and never went back. Zombies, or people with a virus? Doesn't really matter, a Zombie is a Zombie is a Zombie. Oh, and a special child. What can be so special then, ho hum, Oh of course it's that isn't it. So, as I said, it held no surprises for me. Though I am told it has a good ending, I have to say I really don't care. It was a big let down for me, especially after all the hype and while it obviously had a lot of money thrown at it, it left little to surprise or entertain me. I think I might do better playing the game.

Three years wasted!
3 September 2023
I wondered why the last episode of season three had such bad reviews. I was astounded by what I learned. Three years wasted basically. I think the writers should be ashamed of using their viewers like this. I cannot put into words how angry I am about this, so much so, I refuse to watch season three. My husband also, is refusing to watch. I hope more is done to punish the writers for this, but I expect they are sitting back having a good laugh over it all. I really hoped for a big busting romp of the last episode. Silly me, for even watching in the first place. I feel cheated, really let down over this.

I had high hopes...
16 August 2023
It turned into 2.95 hours of nothing much at all, and 5 mins of boom. No Enola Gay or Boxcar, no evidence of any harm it did, only related in conversation. The whole film past by, pretty much in a blur, I can honestly say, I was totally underwhelmed. I will not be watching it again at any future date. It will go down in my memory as completely forgettable. Some have called it complicated, how? When we left the cinema, my husband said, wow! At what I asked him? Really and truly I had looked forward to this film for a while, and while there is no doubt, there was some really good acting, I mean Robert Downey Jr not playing himself, who knew? All in all, I think I may have enjoyed Barbie more and I worked in science.

Well, what a treat!
22 April 2023
I binge watched The Night Agent, thought it couldn't get much better than that, I was wrong. I loved every second of this series. So cerebral and fascinating. Everything you could wish for in a series. The characters and acting were first class. It was so great to see the delicious Rufus Sewell again, and what a part he played, never knowing what he will get up to next. Keri Russell was just magnificent as the ambassador. Played it to perfection. I also loved David Gyasi. All in all a wonderful series, a little short maybe, but well worth watching. The best political show since The West Wing. Excellent!

The best thing on Disney+
13 April 2023
Quite the best series I have seen in a long, long while. The acting is superb by all, and the characters sublime, and all so different. The storyline concerns a very real and true crime statistic, that more women disappear from North America than any other part of the world. A shocking fact. For this fact alone, a second season is a must, this series cannot become another cancel culture addition. Eileen, played by Hilary Swank, is just wonderful. I would love to see more of this character, and teamed with Roz, making a formidable pair. Please, please do not cancel this, it really is too good to let go.

Not bad.
31 January 2023
Pretty good show, but find myself drifting off, and missing half an episode, because I don't care. It's not gripping my attention. One reason why, is the very annoying trait of not answering questions. When any of them are asked something, they drift off into a daydream, or just stare blankly. This really is infuriating. I want to shake them. A huge amount of time is wasted on these blank looks.

It's considered rude in my world. The acting is not bad, but so many Northern accents in London? I guess we will eventually see what's in the locked room. But, am I really interested enough to stick around to find out?

I kinda liked it!

Warning: Spoilers
Loved seeing most of the team again, even the weird Peter. However, about the only one that hadn't aged, was the the Sheriff, he hadn't changed a bit. Pity about Dylan O'Brien not being in the cast for this movie, but I guess this was a little below him now. All in all it was OK, but I would have liked to see a new 'foe', instead of more of them same old ones. One thing that did puzzle me, what happened to Crystal Reed. Hardly recognised her. I have scored it at 7, purely for old times sake. It really was good seeing them all again. It was, and still is, one of my favourite ever TV series. I might just dig out the DVD's again.

It's OK. Could be so much better.
28 January 2023
I'm sitting here binging this as there's nothing much out there to watch. It's OK, all the acting is more than competent, except for one. The actress that plays Lucy Tara.

This character would never have made it as an FBI Agent for a start. She would never had even made it as a cop. She's slapstick. A throwaway. And her acting is truly and absolutely dire. Especially with her on off relationship. Really, if this series makes it to season three, not only will I be very shocked, but I will know why if it doesn't. It will be the fault of one person. Really this actress needs to go, to save this show, she must be gotten rid of.

Really? You thought this might be entertaining?
10 January 2023
Warning: Spoilers
I had high hopes for this. What I found however, was episode after episode of extremely long diatribes. Also I saw things coming a mile away. No surprises. Hey, the girl in the wheelchair, she's going to walk again, right? And sorry, but her legs would have been too weak to walk like that, right off. That was just plain silly.

This series could have been condensed into three or four episodes, then maybe I would not be sitting here yawning? But the talking just goes on and on. Really, it's boring, hours and hours of chat. I'm into Proverbs and I don't think I really care anymore. Do I even want to know what happens, or doesn't.

Get rid of Allie!
27 December 2022
Was glad to see this back, with most of the old crowd. Matt Lauria too, liked him for many years. However, I have a huge problem with Allie. Her diction is awful, she speaks too quickly and not loud enough. The accent is not a problem, I am a Londoner, so it is definitely not that. I also find her rather irrelevant. Please remove her quickly. I am not sure how much longer I can watch if she stays. On the whole though, it's not bad. But, why is everyone remembering David Hodges as a nice guy? He really was not. So if something nasty happens to him now, I won't be upset. But, please, please get rid of Allie!

Possibly the worst TV shoe EVER!
28 October 2022
I saw this introduced on Bones, and ruined a whole episode, I nearly threw up. The show idea was just plain just silly. Maddie's accent is quite the worst I have ever heard, she may have been born in London, but the cockney accent was way, way off and I know, because I am one. I just cannot describe how utterly bad, terrible and vile this show was and I am not at all puzzled why this only made it to one series. At least someone had the sense to bin it. What I do not understand is all the rave reviews. Makes me very suspicious if any of them are actually from honest viewers. Really the worst show of all time award must be given to this awful, cretinous show.

Never played the game.
26 September 2022
Never played the game so had few expectations. All the low reviews are I think from avid, hard nosed gamers. I just wish they could watch a very good show and not continually compare to the game. This was not a game but a very good series. Yes the CGI was a bit rough in places. But on the whole, I thought it highly entertaining.

As for Kwan, I'm interested in where the character can go. I think there is a lot more to come from her.

Pablo Schreiber was great in the role of Master Chief, and what a body? I really hope he makes in to Season 2.

I'm really looking forward to more and will wait will bated breath.

I enjoyed it, but!
24 September 2022
Warning: Spoilers
My husband and I worried it might turn out like Lost! Never going anywhere. Judging by the ending, that is exactly what it looks like.

In that case we probably will not bother with the second season. These writers do not believe in endings. It really could have been a good story.

I do however love the lead character, and am I intrigued to find just where he ended up. Not too worried about the other who went into the tree.

Personally, I would like to find them all home, but in another dimension, scrabbling about trying to find each other. But maybe I have more imagination. I will probably watch again, but only because I'm curious.

With my favourite actress, Tatiana Maslany. Really enjoyed the first episode and will definitely be back for more. Don't have any pre-knowledge of She-Hulk, but what I saw I loved.

Cannot wait for more!

Best thing on TV for a very long time. Only 9, as it was a little hard to follow at times. Cannot wait for the second season. A really good hard hitting show.

Quite the most dire acting I have ever had the misfortune to witness. Did they just pull these people off the street. Would have been fun, if only I could get past the awful portrayals!
