This may take a little while to get in the proper order. And NO doubt I'm forgetting a few. A work in progress.

The Invaders: Inquisition (1968)
Not much of an Inquisition
With the final episode being named "The Inquisition" one might think David Vincent has finally succeeded in getting the attention of the DC big wigs to battle the invaders and drive them from our planet. But as the other reviewer states its just another episode. I also think they must have been planning a 3rd season when the plug got pulled. Too bad.
Frankly I think they missed an AMAZING opportunity to pull off one of the greatest mind f***s in the history of broadcast TV. I would have LOVED to have seen the whole thing turn out to be a psychotic breakdown on the part of David Vincent. With NONE of it EVER having happened the way he thought it did. Just a trail of 50 or more dead humans left in his wake. End it with him being locked in a rubber room screaming, "Don't you understand? The invaders" are HERE! NOW!! They're going to KILL US ALL!!!"
"Such a shame about David Vincent. He used to be a brilliant architect until he took that LSD!"
The Andy Griffith Show: Helen's Past (1968)
Spoiler Alert
The ending of this episode was absolutely ridiculous. Helen Crump was arrested for having a gun in her purse, at an illegal gambling casino, in the company of a notorious hoodlum. The excuse? She was writing a thesis on organized crime for her Master's Degree in Journalism. That's right up there with Austin Powers claiming the penis enlargement device wasn't his. Or, "Honest, officer, that wasn't my kilo of cocaine. I was just writing a thesis on drug abuse for my Master's Degree." She was not only found not guilty but the Mayberry school board that was investigating the matter actually apologized. This is probably the worst writing in the entire 8 year series. At least its the only episode that prompted me to write a derogatory review. Of course an ending where she was working undercover for the police would have been too predictable. Its how I thought the episode would end. Predictable, yes, but at least it wouldn't have been STUPID!
