See (2019)
Let us pray
I've been praying with myself my whole life for this.
Housebound (2014)
Great suspense and laughter
This movie was great. Kept me laughing and guessing. Perfect mix of laughs and suspense. Great job at making light of a dark situation.
We Are What We Are (2013)
I enjoyed it
Bit of a slow burner, but overall was good. I liked the wet/dark theme. I understand this is a remake, but I could not find the original to watch. I usually want to do the original justice, and watch it first. Both had similar reviews, so I went ahead and watched this. I will still try to find the original, but I liked this movie. The father and the youngest daughter do the best acting.
Joker (2019)
Pretty damn good
There's really no point in telling you how this movie is supposed to make you feel. That would defeat the purpose of this movie. I think the movie does a great job telling the story of a person in pain and how they deal with it. You are that person, and you are the pain.
Revenge (2017)
Chick with a super gun
Movie was just okay. Storyline was pretty predictable. Acting was decent. Had several unbelievable parts in the movie, but I guess it is a movie after all. Don't think any research was done on finding out how the guns used work at all.
Orphan (2009)
Pretty good
Although the movie had the same story line we have seen a thousand times, it worked for me. Acting was pretty good. Storyline although familiar, still kept me interested. Add in some blood and gore and it worked out for me.
Dark Was the Night (2014)
Syfy was the movie
As much as I wanted to love this movie, it couldn't happen for me. I love me some Kevin Durand but that's about all this movie had going for itself. I tried to get passed the syfy channel movie feel, but could not. Idea was good, but seemed like a low budget syfy film.
Halloween (2018)
Not bad
Went into this with pretty low expectations, and was pleasantly surprised. Not too bad at all. Seemed to have old feel of poorly made decisions and bloody outcomes.
Atroz (2015)
Gruesome
You will wince a few times in this movie. If not from the the graphic scenes, from the camera movement. It starts off very rough and seems to just be a snuff film. Glad I kept on and saw the bit of story develop.
