Slasher (2016)
Everyone Took Over-Acting 101
A friend of mine was watching "Ripper" and suggested I watch it too since we have similar tastes in movies and TV. I watched the latest series called "Ripper." They should of called the series "The Widow." I don't see how the series has anything to do with Jack the Ripper. This series is about "The Widow" getting even with people from something that happened in the past.
Everyone in the series either couldn't act or was overacting (it was painful to watch) and the worse one was Eric McCormick. Good grief. He really took the protagonist part seriously.
This series is very graphic sexually and terribly gory. Just be warned. And there's a subplot where two step sisters
abuse their half sister (Cinderella vibes). They call her
names, slap the s::t out of her, put her over one of the sisters knees (to get spanked), whip her and the whole time they're abusing her, she takes it and even accepts the blame when she did nothing wrong. Needless to say, I could barely stand watching it. They could've done away with the entire storyline to be honest.
The storyline lacks a lot too. The actors spend a lot of time insulting each other. And there's the superintendent of police that ridicules the detective that actually has a clue what going on and tries to warn people. And you have the rich SOB that owes the town and makes sure everyone knows it. It's full of cliques and they could of shorted it by 2-3 episodes.
Significant Other (2022)
Significant Piece of Garbage
I had just finished watching Smile on Paramount + when this began playing right afterwards. I knew nothing about it beforehand.
The scenery is beautiful but other than that this movie sucks. It dragged on and on with absolutely nothing happening. It's never explained why Ruth is so uptight about hiking other than she prefers the water. She's got issues about marriage because her parents marriage failed. The characters have zero chemistry and Ruth is so unlikeable.
When the twist (if that's what you can call it) is finally revealed, I was like "do what?" The movie takes a massive turn into Way Out There Land and not for the better. It flipped from what was (I assume) a suspense movie into a ridiculous...........I don't know what this movie turned into. It also contradicted itself; (SPOILER) If the aliens are invading and they assume peoples bodies, why did he kill the other campers?
Skip this movie. It's boring, and veers off into Stupid Town with no way back.
Matriarch (2022)
Don't Do It
Keeping this short, this movie sucks. It sucks bad. I couldn't even finish it. The acting is awful and all of the characters are weird and so unlikable. From the 45-1 hour I did watch, the mother is a horrible person and it's no wonder the daughter had nothing to do with her for 20 years.
I nearly turned it off after the very brief scene of the 2 old people making out in the back seat of a car. It is so disgusting. I have nothing against old people or old people getting their groove on but IF you watch this movie you'll know what I mean when you see it.
There are better "horror" movies out there. Save your time and watch something else. This move sucks.
Echoes (2022)
Why Did I Watch The Whole Series?
Image a 7 hour long Lifetime movie about 2 mentally messed up twins- one worse than the other and there you have the premise of the 7 part series.
I stuck around and watched all 7 shows and hate myself for doing so. It's SOOOOOOO dragged out. At least 5 episodes could've been left out to be honest.
There are so many loopholes and the whole twin "switching" was ridiculous, at times confusing and made little sense; the idea NO ONE except their mother could tell them apart was just stupid. As kids, if 1 did something bad they'd switch. Why? Made no sense except to give weight to "bad Gina."
There's way too much filler and no substance.
To me, about 85% of the series is 1 twin looking for the other and saying "I'll fix this." There is 1 episode where "Leni" walks around for the duration of the show saying "I gotta find "Gina," "I have to talk to Gina." It was so monotonous that it started irritating me. And again, the whole twin switching lives and their husbands don't know the difference, her daughter doesn't, Dad doesn't, they can resume each other's jobs and so on got to be so far fetched that I honestly started rolling my eyes and a few times laughed out loud. No explanation is given either why 1 twin is so obsessed and jealous of the other which sets up the series and steers it into Lifetime Movie territory.
I won't give away anything about the ending except to say it was obvious with a twist.
I'd skip this series. There are WAY BETTER ones to watch.
Day Shift (2022)
This movie sucks.....literally
Don't waste your time. This movie is so bad. It's the kind of movie an actor makes when he's desperate or has to make a movie to fulfill a contract.
Think of EVERY cliché in a vampire movie and it's here. There's also a subplot of Jamie Foxx's former boss hating his guts and trying to get him thrown out from the Vampire Union and it's never explained why other than he breaks a lot of "rules" on the job. The plot is silly, the acting bad, the jokes (and there's only a few) are lame and 5th grade level, and the movie drags on and gets so boring half way through. Actually, I was bored 20 minutes in. One thing that got me too was Jamie Foxx & Snoop drop F bombs like crazy BUT in a scene with Jamie Foxx & Dave Franco they say "butthole." Yes, there's the old butthole joke in this movie- again it's 5th grade humor and just stupid.
Skip this movie. Like I said in the title of my review...this movie sucks. Literally!
Ted Lasso (2020)
What a Gem!
If you're not watching Ted Lasso, you are seriously missing out on one of the best written, funniest, charming, heart warming, and F-Bomb filled comedies ever made.
I decided to watch an episode a few nights ago, and within 15 minutes, I was hooked. I've been binge-watching ever since. I have to rewind a lot because the English have different saying and I miss it and also, there are so many jokes that come fast that it's hard to miss some.
I can't believe it took me so long to start watching this show. I see now why this fantastic show has won a ton of awards.
And Jason Sudeikis is so damn charming and funny. And kinda hit too.
Do yourself a favor and start watching. You won't regret it.
The Black Phone (2021)
Was Expecting More...but it doesn't suck
I was looking forward to watching this movie and paid $20.00 to rent it on Amazon Prime. I've never paid that much to rent a movie but I was really wanting to see this movie. Sadly, I was kinda disappointed.
This shouldn't be touted as a horror movie. I'd describe it as a supernatural thriller. Aside for a few scenes of the victims (which don't show much but some blood), there's nothing really scary in The Black Phone. The Grabber's masks are unsettling and the scene upstairs where he sits and waits is creepy. I've seen way more gore and scary images in PG13 movies. What surprised me is The Grabber is rarely seen. Major respect to Ethan Hawke who did a great job as The Grabber considering he has very limited screen time and has to rely on his physical gestures and voice while never showing his face.
I hated the stereotypes in the movie- the dumb cops that ignore any leads, don't believe Gwen (the coolest little sister ever BTW) until (I assumed) they're desperate and then want to use her "abilities." The abusive father is a drunken a$$hole loser. I did not like how he didn't believe his own daughter when she told him about her dreams (an ability Gwen inherited from her deceased mother) and beats Gwen into lying about her gift. The scene where he beats Gwen made me very uncomfortable being I was abused by my mother.
The movie is set in the late 70s but what immediately struck me was The Grabber kidnaps kids in residential areas in broad daylight while driving around in a black van with a huge logo on the side and no one sees a thing? My assumption was he'd gotten away with his killing spree for quite some time from revealed tidbits throughout the movie: the number of victims and the wall with the map showing the victims locations and graphics that one guy shows the uninterested dumb cops. Turns out the dump cops should've taken an interest in what he tried to tell them.
A few scenes were intense but contradicted what happened to the other victims. The ghosts that call Finney tell him The Grabber likes to punish and torture his victims so they warn Finney about "the game" and not to engage when The Grabber sets up the ploy. Finney never gets caught trying to escape and when he briefly does why isn't he punished by The Grabber? That made no sense. One last scene that made me roll my eyes was no one in the huge crowd that are at "the house" Gwen finds see Finney emerge but, of course, her.
Overall, this isn't a bad movie but I think it could've been a little better. I REALLY hope a prequel is made that explores the background of The Grabber (that would be awesome but only with Ethan Hawke playing him again); What's his background? What's the relationship with his brother? What happened that he became a murdering psychopath? Why does he wear masks (and freak out his face is exposed?). I think the potential to make a prequel to The Black Phone would be very interesting and a great movie if done by the right people.
From (2022)
Review FROM a Huge Fan of the show
I like shows like this; weird, thrilling, eerie, mind-bending, scary, monsters/creatures/creepy people...etc. So when I saw this show advertised on Prime Video, I watched the frost 3 Ed liaises and immediately subscribed to EPIX. Yes, From has the same vibe as the show Lost but so what. Nearly every show made today is reminiscent of a past series. That doesn't mean it's not a good show.
I think some of the actors aren't that good but the series lead, Harold Perrineau, is great but he delivers a great performance in everything he's in. He brings a lot of depth to his characters struggle with not wanting the responsibility of being the towns law enforcer, navigating his guilt over his wife's death, trying to keep rebuild the damaged relationship with his son, and dealing with the constant threat of whatever is lurking in the woods that come out at dark.
Some of the actors and their characters can be quite annoying (Jade & Sara) and very hard to like (Jim Matthews) and a bit over the top (Victor).
I love the eerie and creepy premise of the show and all the layers of subplots that seem to weave their way into the main storyline. It's hard to surprise me when watching a show/movie but there have been a few times that truly surprised me.
There have been a few times when something happened that annoyed me; the idiot that leaves flowers for one of the creatures thinking he had a real relationship with her and ultimately does something so damn dumb that I yelled at my TV. But it was also that arc that resulted in a consequence that shocked me and also saddened me. But, that's the greatness of this show. You never know when a gut punch is coming. Season 1 ended on a pretty good cliffhanger.
I can't wait for S2 to see who gets off that bus.
The Man from Toronto (2022)
The Man From This Sucks
I was looking forward to this movie even though the formula has been rehashed 1 million times. I watched about 45 minutes and moved on. It was that stupid, and not funny at all. Kevin Hart is playing the same role in every comedy and it's redundant and honestly, he's becoming annoying. I'm a fan of Woody Harrelson and think he's arguably the most underrated actor in Hollywood. The guy can do it all but in this crapfest, even he seems bored. There are better comedies to watch. This is a hard pass.
Feria: La luz más oscura (2022)
The Darkest Light? Try the Dumbest
I didn't make it through episode 2. This show just sucked. The 2 young lead actresses got on my nerves fast with the constant crying and holding each other. And one minute they're supporting each other and the next the younger sister is being a little piss ass and acting like a brat and running off. The entire town where this full of horrible characters and the cops are dumb. And then it for just weird; I quickly lost interest and since there are so many better show to watch on Roku- I moved on. Don't waste your time watching a show that isn't making you laugh, keeping you intrigued or keeping you on the edge of your seat, moving you emotionally. There are such great shows to watch and life's too short for crappy TV/movies.
The Resort (2021)
A Resort You Don't Want To Visit
First of all, this is a short movie (under 90 minutes) BUT it drags so bad. High school teens act better than these "actors." Their dialogue basically consists of them constantly bickering that goes on throughout the entire movie. And it gets old....fast!
The characters are the typical horror/thriller movie stereotypes; the obnoxious horny party guy who believes nothing about when he sees it, the dumb blond (why didn't she roll down the window?), the hot hero who could easily be Jason Momoa's brother, and tossed into the mix is the girl next door who insists they go to the supposedly haunted resort.
It takes way to long for the movie to get going and some much needed editing (like the waterfall scene didn't even need to be in the movie) could've made the movie somewhat better because the characters spend very little time inside the resort. Once they get inside, the movie escalates fast and then it's over quickly. The few scares aren't anything new or creative and I laughed out loud after party guy gets taken and when he's seen moments later, the terrible make up job on him is SO BAD & so cheesy.
I don't give away endings and won't here either; I will say though that I saw the ending coming half way through. It's not original either.
Servant (2019)
Starting to Lose It's Luster
When I began watching Servant, it was so intriguing, eerie and had me really interested and I actually binge-watched the show. But now, the once interesting characters, with the exception of the AWFUL Rubert Gint (Julian), are becoming boring and annoying.
First off, how in the hell Rubert Gint got cast in this show continues to baffle me. He could easily write the book "Overacting for Dummies" or even teach a master class called "Chewing the Scenery" 101. I cringe every time he's in a scene. He sounds ridiculous dropping so many F bombs in every single scene, and he plays the druggy, boozing, flawed younger brother with too much intentional facial expressions, gestures, over pronunciation of words that he's so damn obvious in what he's badly doing. What were they thinking casting this turd?
Lauren Ambrose isn't that good here either to be honest. Her casting was also a surprise. She does little more than smile weirdly, squint her eyes and purse her lips when she needs to REALLY show emotion. The character of Dorothy is a self centered and intentionally cruel & overly critical woman that's only interested in outward appearances and craves attention (she's a TV news reporter & has to record every one of her reporting segments). Sean, her husband, is a chef and can also be a bit selfish but not nearly as bad as Dorothy. He tries to give to their relationship much more than her and gives into Dorothy's never ending need for attention and the spotlight.
Then there's the character of Leanne. She was intriguing and creepy at first but as the show continues, I find her becoming annoying and boring. What's frustrating me with this show in the never ending unanswered questions and all the things that make no sense: Why was the weird Uncle sleeping in the crib? Where is her feared Aunt now? Suddenly Leanne calls the shots in the family household after Jericho comes back again. Leanne has some kind of special "abilities" but yet she's terrified of the people that are after her. What's up with the hole in the basement?
And why in the world did the show runners think Leanne and Julian getting it on for a while was a good idea. It was so gross but suddenly that whole ick factor just stopped with no explanation.
When watching Servant, it is sometimes obvious that M. Night Shylalman is involved which has its pros & cons as is typical with everything he does. Even though my review is all negative, Servant is still a decent show (From on Epix is WAY WAY BETTER) but just with its flaws.
Das Privileg (2022)
The Privilege? More like The Punishment
I'll make this short. This movie sucks. Everything about it sucks. The movie makes NO SENSE. It's all over the place. It's like they couldn't decide what kind of movie they wanted to make so they threw a little of 3 different genres together and made this crapfest.
The acting is atrocious (the lead guy always has this creepy look and is he wearing eyeliner???) the script is at times comical, the effects are funny; Even the threesome thrown in there for absolutely no reason whatsoever (yes, even THAT sucked) was dumb and the running time of the movie is so damn long. All that combined make one movie that sucks and this is it. Don't waste your time!! I'm still questioning myself as to why I even finished watching it because the movie....well......it sucks.
Dune (2021)
No Clue What I Just Watched
I watched this on HBO+ and to be honey, I felt like a moron throughout the entire movie because I had to constantly rewind and read the subtitles to try and understand what was going on and who was who.
I don't remember having so much difficulty comprehending what the hell was happening in a movie. And I'm not even dumb. Honestly! I'm not. Kinda felt that way now though watching it to be honest.
The movies set designs, costumes, overall look, and acting are all incredible. But I didn't like the movie because it was just too hard to understand with all the overlapping language, weird names, Paul's dreams, who the characters were and what they entailed to the storyline.... It's one of those movies that you HAVE TO STAY WITH or you're lost.
I wouldn't say not to watch it. Lots of male eye candy, that's for sure! The movie didn't completely suck. Like I wrote, it was too hard to follow.
Brand New Cherry Flavor (2021)
Boring? Yes. Slow? Yes. Dumb? Yes.
I don't get all these high ratings. I hung in there and watched all 8 episodes, but I found 90% of it boring (fast forwarding through some), SOOO dragged out and it left so much unexplained. Like, what happened in the woods that made the star of the short movie do what she did (not gonna give it away). Why did Boro need Lisa anyhow?
It seemed like the movie makers were just adding filler to drag the show out. Some parts actually got on my nerves like everyone showing up at Boro's house all the time. Like, almost EVERY character just about. At the end, Lisa leaves, gets in her car, drives a little ways, and goes right back. I even said out loud "are you kidding me?" This was about the 5th time in 1 day" that the character did this. Again, adding filler to drag the show out. It was monotonous.
I like weird, trippy out there shows but this sucked. And the ending? Lame and it just ended with nothing resolved or explained.
Blood Red Sky (2021)
Can you smell it? It's this garbage
OMG, this movie SUCKED more than the vampires in this epic dump fest. Shame on Netflix for even making this dreadful mash-up of BAD acting, a ridiculous script, Party City level special effects & make-up (I LOLed a few times at the XXL size mouth piece Momma vampire wears) seriously obnoxious stereotype characters, terrible directing and the movie is about 45 minutes too damn long.
This movie is all over the place; It's like if a bad vampire movie (which this definitely is) had a baby with a blood thirsty Rambo while on a Die Hard holiday during a Weekend at Bernie's.
I laughed several times because the movie got so ludicrous-like when the blond haired bad guy (who was chewing the scenery like he was starving) WANTED to become a vampire so he intentionally injected himself with Momma vampires blood. At that point, I was talking out loud and saying things I can't post here.
Even the plot of this movie was dumb and not explained; how did vampire mom get the drugs (that were in a glass vile mind you!!) and was she trying to cure herself or what? And that kid!?! The kid was supposed to be the biggest hero with no fear whatsoever but I guess when your Mom is a vampire just waiting for you to misbehave so she has a guiltless reason to suck your blood dry that'll toughen up a kid, ya know?
Even though this is one of the worse movies I've seen in a long time, I will admit I had to watch it until the end just to see how this garbage would end and even that SUCKED!
A Quiet Place Part II (2020)
Yawn....
I didn't see the big deal with the first AQP, and this one? Nothing new here folks. As a matter of fact, I started fast forwarding. I was getting increasingly bored (ever thought it's a 90 min movie). The best character is the daughter. Emily Blunt always seems on the verge of hysteria, the son is a whiny puss with no courage or smarts for that matter (I mean he couldn't handle staying alone with baby brother for a little while when Mom had to go get medical supplies AND he screws up and about kills the baby and himself) and PLEASE tell me how they have the most quiet, non crying baby EVER? And the poor baby has to live his life is a dark box. The family go off (which I didn't understand why) to find a so-called "friend" who wasn't much of one to begin with. He does come around and saves the daughter because apparently aliens creatures make survivors turn into mean, robbing, vengeful a$$holes.
What really did it for me in not liking it was the movie just ends leaving AQP 3 a 100% CERTAIN! I won't give away anymore but this movie just sucked.
Adoration (2013)
Not a fantastic movie BUT it didn't suck
First off, Robin Wright couldn't suck in a movie if she tried. She's one of the most underrated actresses in Hollywood. Naomi Watts is also a good actress but, in my opinion, she's not in the same league as Robin.
The acting in the movie is good. The scenery is breathtaking. All these people do is swim, lay on the beach, drink and get jiggy wit it.
The roles were believable but I wish the movie would've explored how society looks at a woman with a much younger man versus a man with a much younger woman. A woman is called a cougar, and is thought to be in some kind of crisis while trying to hold on to her youth. It's almost like a woman can't be found sexually attractive to a hot young stud. When a man has an affair with a much younger female, he's a stud, a playboy, and it's more accepted. None of that ideology is examined. There's a pointless subplot with a man in love with Lil (Naomi Watts) that was just dumb.
One thing, however, that I really thought ruined the movie was how the 4 people involved in the relationships did not seem concerned, ashamed, or the least bit upset when their relationships are discovered and consequences happen. I don't want to give it away, but the ending left a bad taste in my mouth. The 4 involved came off as some seriously selfish, immature, careless turds that were all out to just keep banging each other regardless of who they hurt, and what they all lost in doing so.
The Conjuring: The Devil Made Me Do It (2021)
Make it stop
I guess when a movie franchise makes money, studios will milk it for every last dime. That seems to be the deal with the Conjuring movies. This movie was so boring and so long and took forever to get anywhere. It also was a little hard to follow if you can believe that. It jumped all over and what eventually was a simple storyline (and a silly one) was made to appear complicated.
I started fast forwarding in some parts because it just draaaaaaaaaaggggged. Nothing happened until the last 5 minutes. It's not scary either. At this point, we can all predict the jumps and scares, can't we? The characters are so annoying now and the idea that their love can ward off even the most evil spirits and forces that come at them (because we all know that stuff is real :-/) is eye rolling and I was hoping "Ed" would become possessed or something in this movie just to be more interesting. He's the "demonologist" but asked "Lorraine" several times "so what do we do?" "What's the next step?" Again, eye rolling.
This movie just sucked. I don't get all these high ratings but maybe they come from the folks that believe the Warrens were the real deal and not big scammers like it's been proven time and time again.
Friends: The Reunion (2021)
Could this BE any worse?
For one thing, we didn't learn much we didn't already know: Courtney Cox was originally supposed to be Rachel...The role of Rachel was hard to cast....yeah yeah yeah. But where were the characters that were significant in the series? Where was Emily? Phoebe's husband, Mike? Chandler's "mother?" Rachel's boyfriends? There were so many supporting actors left out. Hearing the supporting actors discuss their input would've been interesting. It felt like they were trying really hard to fill almost 2 hours and it got silly like the ridiculous "fashion show?" Could that BE any dumber?
The only actor that seemed to be enjoying the reunion and remembered a LOT more than anyone else was Matt LeBlanc. Jennifer Aniston came off (to me) as a kinda "know it all" and she freaking checked her phone during the damn show!!! Matthew Perry said very little and Courtney Cox didn't say much either and she could barely smile from all the Botox and when Lisa Kudrow sang "Smelly Cat" and Lady Gaga came in? WTF!? Why? Lisa/Phoebe didn't need any help and what a inconsiderate way to steal LISA'S spotlight. I thought that was just wrong and it felt awkward. Did Lady Gaga think she was auditioning for a Smelly Cat movie or what? She really SANG the stink out of Smelly Cat.
I did LOL during the PIVOT scenes but overall, the questions James Corbin asked were silly and not interesting whatsoever. Lastly, when David Shwimmer talked about his crush on Jennifer and how their first kiss was the scene in the coffee shop when he was dating Julie - I think they were wrong. Wasn't their first kiss when they watched the Prom video and "Rachel" found out Ross was gonna take her? She went over and kissed Ross by the door in Monica & her apartment.
Anyhow, I was hoping for insight like how they dealt with real life during the show; remember Jennifer married Brad Pitt, Courtney married David Arquette and had a child, Lisa Kudrow also had a baby during the show. It wouldn't been interesting to hear how they dealt with pregnancy during the show. This reunion could've been so much better, but instead we got "the one that missed the mark."
Peppermint (2018)
Great popcorn movie
I've watched Peppermint several times and never get bored. It's not academy award winning (although most Oscar winning movies suck), but it's entertaining from start to finish. Jennifer Garner is an underrated actress and she does a great job in this movie playing both the victim and the revenge seeking mother & wife. She has always had the "girl next door" look & reputation so seeing her in a bad ass role like this is highly entertaining. The movie starts slow but it's still not boring, and after about 30 minutes in it kicks into overdrive and the action is non stop. There were a few very sad scenes and a few sarcastic one-liners. Jennifer Garner owns the role. The only negative is she's the only well known actor in the movie and I think if the movie were given a better title it would've done better at the box office when it was released. I know several people that think this is a kids or family movie and that's why they've passed on it. Get yourself some snacks and sit back and watch the movie and enjoy the ride.
Thunder Force (2021)
Melissa? Why?
I really wish Melissa McCarthy would realize it's not up to her to help and support her husbands career. It's obvious she's the reason this not-funny schmuck even makes movies. Has the guy made one decent movie? Tammy? No. Life of the Party? No. Thunder Force? No! He's embarrassing his wife and making her look just silly and pathetic. She's obviously talented but making these dumb movies with her husband is killing her career whether she knows it or not. This movie is just bad. Why in the hell did Justin Bateman and Octavia Spencer agree to star in this crap fest? Just skip this garbage. There's nothing to even say. It's just dumb and not funny.
Coming 2 America (2021)
Eddie! Eddie! Eddie? Why?
This is one of the worse movies I've ever seen and one of the worse movies Eddie Murphy has ever made. Besides being boring, not funny, stupid, and just desperate, they brought back every previous character and shouldn't have. It seemed like filler to add time to the movie since there was a silly storyline that had nowhere to go or develop. Wesley Snipes' character is so over the top that I couldn't decide if it was bad or so bad it was good.
And there's too much music and singing and dancing (ALL BAD TOO) that it also felt like movie filler since the storyline and characters had nowhere to go and nothing to do.
Basically, a great classic movie, Coming to America, was given a lame, stupid, boring, and honestly a pathetic sequel that Eddie Murphy should be embarrassed to have made. SKIP! IT!
Us (2019)
Us="U"nbelievably "s"hi**y
Where to even begin. The visuals and creepy factor were pretty substantial and effective. The concept also is quite good BUT is this a comedy? The "humor" and comical dialogue came from left field and wasn't funny and felt awkward and just silly. The husband character was a straight up moron and I was hoping he'd have been eliminated just to end my suffering. And SO MANY loopholes! And so many eye rolls and cursing at the TV. I'm not the only one that does this, right?
This movie felt like Jordan Peele was in a hurry to make another "Get Out" blockbuster (which I still don't get considering that movie was so over hyped and wrongly categorized) and Us failed miserably. This movie was just dumb, makes no sense whatsoever and if you didn't/don't see the twist coming a mile away...well, you probably think/thought this was a great movie.
Kudos to what's her name for her great double role acting. The 2 young actors playing her kids were great too. I was wondering though when watching "is Elizabeth Moss the only actress available for roles?" because she's in everything and shouldn't be.
This had potential to be a really cool movie but for me, all the loopholes, and confusion on what kind of movie it was (a horror/comedy?) ruined it.
Helstrom (2020)
Helshr*t
Skip this. I stayed with it until episode 4 and bailed. It's just bad on every level: predictable, full of cliche after cliche, uninteresting characters (the main lead female is awful and so unlikeable), boring storylines with endings and developments that can be predicted before they even unfold, and high school level acting. Just avoid it. There are so many more better shows to watch. Don't waste your precious time watching lame ass crap like this.
