Well Done doc, but Kind of Sad
25 January 2016
I'm sorry to say it but:This little boy is so mean (cussing every 1 out, kicking pit bulls, hitting little kids)! But then when they showed his home environment-that explained some of it.He has a talent for riding the dirt bikes, and wants to join that bike group, it's a outlet for him to get away from his life (which I can see a pretty rough one) I just wish they wouldn't ride their bikes in the streets and get chased by the police. Maybe they can build a track or something for them.Maybe some club can be created. Something needs to be done to keep them off the main streets.I understand the police trying to keep them and pedestrians and others safe.

Very Heartbreaking
3 January 2016
I watch this documentary today and it was very sad. I knew what the subject matter would be (homeless children/families) but was unprepared for the way it made me feel.It was the children that pulled at my heartstrings because they were thrown into being homeless and living at that terrible motel. They had to learn about death, crime, poverty, all before some of them were even pre-teens.The look in their faces when they were being interviewed, there was a hopeless expression. When some were asked what were they looking forward to as they grew up; a few of them sadly replied "nothing". It's as if they believed their lives meant nothing and never would. No child should feel that way. I still can't understand how America the richest country in the world has children and families that live this way.

Nightwatch (2015– )
Nightwatch is Fantastic Show
3 January 2016
I absolutely LOVE this show it's kind of like COPS but it follows a group of EMS workers in "The Big Easy" or New Orleans. I like how they are all like a big close family. They really love their jobs and always have the other's back. Some of their reactions to situations are hilarious and you never know what's gonna come out their mouths. One thing I have to warn is that scenes can get kind of gory. On some of the calls, if you're queasy you WILL have to turn your face away from the TV. But thank God some of the more grotesque injuries are blurred out from the network.I always like how at the end of the show there are good updates for the people they treated.

Really Good but also Really Sad...
23 December 2015
This is such a depressing movie but it's a very well made movie capturing the lives of 2 drug addict couples day in and night. It shows what they go thru and how they survive on the streets chasing that high they can't live without.Made me really sad them waste their lives that way.But then everyone makes their own choices in life and unfortunately they all chose the life of drug abuse and homelessness-even crime. I think all young people (high school age) should see this film and I bet it would be a complete eye-opener. I've watched the film now 2 times. That's how well done it is. It's very very gritty and real and maybe some might think some scenes go too far, or are too graphic. That just makes it a better film. I wonder if Mr.Alpert will do a follow up film. To see where the people featured ended up.
