Avoid at all costs
16 June 2022
This movie is made of worthless and meaningless CGI and senseless direction. Long 168 minutes of length is joyless. The script is thoughtless and the photography is meritless. It appears that the main characters Rocky and Adheera are directionless. I can't use more adjectives. This movie is for the thoughtless and heedless audience.

Worth getting hooked
10 June 2022
Last night I completed watching my favorite show *The Bold Type*, last night with the last episode of last season 5.

Wish it has more seasons to watch.

This show is truly a breath of fresh air amongst the legions of other stale dramas.

The main characters are kind and constantly support and build each other up, a far cry from the usual catty, the female drama you see in most shows. I am impressed with how they tackle complex, nuanced issues while still engaging and fun. They used young bubbly girls, but very talented, to highlight the effective management of complex life issues, be it physical or emotional in everybody's life, irrespective of age.

A must-watch.

Totally avoidable
8 May 2022
This movie is earning money solely due to two reasons. One good visual effect ( VFX) and die-hard fans of Allu Arjun with his crazy mannerisms. I spent 5 days watching the 180 minutes long movie in expectation of something worthwhile. I felt that the Director tried to copy the theme of the highly rated TV serial "Queen of the South" to glorify the character of the bad guy. But it failed miserably and ended up adding some crapy and boring song and dance sequences. Must avoid at all costs.

Just tolerable
25 March 2022
I'll begin by saying that we need to make more meaningful and original stuff. Ajay Devgan has been hyped beyond his capability and a sort of idol worshipping was portrayed by excessive camera focus. The storyline and direction need improvement. Raashi Khanna surely stands out while just tolerable. On OTT we get to see much better quality stuff. Was excessive cigarette smoking by Ajay Devgan a replacement for his acting ability?

Disgusting and huge letdown
7 January 2022
I just watched 3 episodes and I am unable to see further. There's is no storyline. The director doesn't know his profession. Talented cast., but there's no clarity of characters and screenplay. It's a sheer waste of time and no, no for viewing. Avoid at all costs.

Slow and pathetic
21 June 2021
Well directed and choreographed movie with each actor playing well its own role. In addition, the photography is good to show excellent views of forests and some animals. The good part finishes there. The script and storyline, that make or break a movie, are sadly missing in this. Moreover, the pace goes extremely slow in its absence. The title, SHERNI, is a big misnomer when the movie ends with Vidya Balan whimpers helplessly in the bad political scenario. Just avoid.

Individually so many talented comedians, who will make you laugh your guts out (LMGO), brought together in this most idiotic program. Right from its format to the choreography to acting is miserably annoying. Avoid at all costs.

Too good
5 May 2021
I was in Kharkiv, 444 Kms away when the Chernobyl catastrophe happened and I was monitoring on Radio. I got the news after 4 days of the accident from the BBC when radiation clouds were detected in Europe. The serial is more than documentary-drama in terms of truthful presentation of the horror without any exaggeration. The details of the Soviet life that are shown in this TV series are incredibly true and real. Acting is very realistic and to the point. Cinematography is great and you can feel being in the 1980s Ukraine. A must-watch.

Entertainment beyond belief
25 April 2021
The story script so crisp and amazing which reads better than the book. I'm rating it 9 because of my own flaw of not finding any flaw in this imperfect world. Severe nudity and violence, which generally I abhor, loved the perfect fit and relevancy in this flick. 73 episodes are the spoilers for me to enjoy any other TV serials.

Awesome. Must watch
16 November 2020
9 episodes of Season 1 are great storytelling with mind-blowing twists and turns. It is Sushmita Sen's great performance all the way with crisp direction and cinematography. Probably OTT is providing the right platform for the talent and potential of the creative field. Let no censorship spoil it. It appeared to be glorifying negative forces throughout but concluded with a positive note and a message. Miss it at your peril. Eagerly waiting for Season 2, as indicated in the end.

Worth enjoying
15 November 2020
The plot was usual and on the expected lines but because of crisp direction, editing, the movie kept the audience captivating and glued to the movie. Rajkummar Rao is an excellent actor, but I found Nushrat Bharucha, a fresh face, overshadowing many a time. A family story with a nicely worded message in its conclusion but slight non-family in its promo song at the end. A must watch.

Avoid, avoid and must avoid
11 November 2020
This is the minimum rating possible so can't help it. There can't be the worst way the message it intends to send across. The film in the name of a transgender character is a joke on the community. Director Raghava lost the plot from the beginning. This horror-comedy is neither funny nor is it scary. This is a soulless film.

Music to ears
21 August 2020
It couldn't have been more perfect. Cast, Direction, Execution - excellence. I'm no music lover but this masterpiece made me fall in love with music. I'd have given perfect 10 but one annoying factor is the frequent use of cuss words. In 6 decades of my life, I've interacted with almost every stratum of society. But I find the use of cuss words very few and far that too at very low stratum. New generation movies and TV serials appear to be promoting its use as a fashion statement.

Surely worth watching
5 August 2020
I watched it last night without any break on Amazon prime. I had a personal encounter with Shakuntla Devi when she visited PEC during my engineering days. My 1st impression was just marvelous of her show on stage. I can't forget her in my life. But after watching the movie, the maths genius troubled personal relationships throughout her life, lesser-known to many, was a revelation to me. The movie was very well choreographed, directed, and above all well acted by Vidya Balan. The over-dramatization of emotions, like any Bollywood flick, can't be ruled out. Many times, I felt that the original Shakuntala Devi was mesmerizing and exhibited better control of the crowd and show. Notwithstanding that the movie surely deserves must watch.

Total pain and and torture
25 July 2020
Has the director and scriptwriter and whole production team gone crazy to make a 7-month-old pregnant lady undergo such pain and torture and withstand gory situations where a normal person dare not? Hats off to the maker of such a movie and equally those went through the whole movie expecting something worthwhile sometimes. 2 stars for the Keerthy Suresh for accepting to the role in the movie.

Thriller turns comic
24 July 2020
Great performance, good direction and screenplay and thrilling moments will keep you hooked to your TV set till the half of the total episodes, not mentioning specifically here to avoid spoilers. The thrill and suspense ends thereon and storytelling becomes predictable. As if, nadir has reached and script has lost the steam. Choreography and performance continues to be good till the end. The end is melodramatic, typical of Bollywood movies where it's a win-win for everyone. Could have been much much better.

A big drag
20 June 2020
It was so dragging that I could complete this movie in 3 installments on Prime. Shoojit Sircar, otherwise a good director, I wonder how he ventured into it. Couldn't be lockdown effect. Whatever comedy attempted in the script fell flat on the face. 2 stars for celebrity actors.

Utter nonsense
25 April 2020
I may be one of the very few to rate the movie so low, for such a highly acclaimed one. Joaquin's performance is excellent and the cinematography is crisp but otherwise, I do not understand the hype around it. The movie is slow with no plot worth watching. It was beyond my understanding of the character, the director, storyteller, or anyone associated with the moviemaker, wants to portray to the public. The best part is The End shown on the screen to convey that there's no more misery. Surely I wasted time watching it.

Enjoyable mystery
10 April 2020
The thriller kept us on seat edges and also kept the entertainment value intact. Direction & cinematography is excellent. Script and screenplay were sharp and splendid. The movie lighting and music need not be so dark, but probably that's what made it interesting. Enjoyed thoroughly.

Dance centric
23 March 2020
If you're a kind of person who look for balanced dose of entertainment, plot, thrill, romance, social message etc, then this movie is not for you. Remo committed to provide dance , dance, dance and nothing else. Do meditate and leave all your knowledge, logic and any other expectations before watching this. I did enjoy all those crazy dance movements to the core.

New and fresh pleasant faces, skills, and actions for me. From the plot of the story, it kinds of light and predictable, but hey, it is decent flick and you can enjoy with your family.

Novel theme but first half is terrific
27 February 2020
Simplicity and realistic approach of the theme is really good. The story itself had so much potential and all the essential ingredients that the movie could have been much better. Performances of all seasoned actors were top notch in their roles. Akshay Kumar, Kareena Kapoor, Diljit Dosanjh and Kiara Advani played their role extremely well, noticeable among were 2 and 3. The script from was apt till 30 minutes before finish, then it was drag without any conceivable conclusion.

Keeps you on the edge of the seat
14 February 2020
I had not seen such stark way of telling bitter truth without mincing words. An unnecessary crime against humanity. This movie made me feel and shook my heart deep inside. It's a case study of someone being willing to stand up for what she, the senator, believes regardless of the consequences. There are precious few people like this, so every film that chronicles their struggle deserves to be seen. The screenplay was tight, taut and tense. Beautifully-crafted production with great performances from the cast. It pointless mentioning the plot because it is factual and well-known and, despite any real surprises, the director keeps the tension going.

Above average
6 February 2020
In general, I liked the movie, a family entertainment and fast moving. The name resemblance to old movie is limited to the name and the 3 main characters. The setting is for the millennial and unlike other movies of this category, its smooth and not much ostentatious. On a negative note, there're very few avoidable cuss words. Myth: Cuss words compliment humour.

Poor girls
10 March 2019
Director and producers have no clue how to make a serial. This show is based solely on nudity and profanity. There is no story line and theme. Unfortunately, 4 girls in the show are good actresses but their talent is wasted totally in the absence of story and made to show their body with use of avoidable language.
