This is more suited for "Fantasy" genre rather than a Sci-Fi TV Shows

Warning: Spoilers
I understand that the show runners decided to change a lot of stuff compared to the books, and I could be ok with that (even if... I'm really not). The major problem I see here, anyway, is, from a "science" point of view, a lot of stuff really does not makes sense at all. Stuff that is not even remotely plausible. From tiny survival pods with no heatshields that are able to go trough an atmosphere re-enter without being destroyed, to fighters that go in a space battle on a tiny battleship without even wearing a space suit, (giving a lot of the old "eighties star wars" vibe), there is too much stuff that really hard to watch in 2023. Not only that, we also saw people that can swin endlessly underwater like in the final episode of the first season, unrealistic ship driver's seats and flight control, people that transfer the mind from one body to another, a digital brain that somehow become reincarnated into another physical body out of nowhere, a foldable tiny boat that unfold in a spectacular and ultra-futuristic way that has not, however, any kind of electric propulsion so the character has to manually row in order to move on the water. Too much stuff doesn't add up and makes absolutely no sense. Stuff that completely breaks the immersion and make it looks like more of a Fantasy Tv Show rather than a sci-fi TV show. The writers of this show should watch in my humble opinion less Marvel movies and more serious Sci-Fi shows, like "The Expanse" for example. Shows like "The Expanse" raised the bar in term of how a representation of a ship, a weapon, a vehicle could, and should, stay plausible to the law of physics and dynamics, and how you have to try to provide visual clues or some sort of plausible scientific explanations of what you are seeing on the screen. In this category, this show falls incredibly short, resembling more to a superheroes tv show or a fantasy show, with all sort of bizarre, lazy and completely unrealistic solutions, rather than a true "Sci-Fi" tv show.

Passé sous silence: La bataille de Tchernobyl (2006)

Terrifying
13 September 2014
One of the best documentaries I've ever seen. I can't believe it has only one review. Trust me, this is absolutely a must see. especially for new generations. They need to understand what we risked with the Chernobyl nuclear disaster! The whole Europe could have become inhabitable!

The documentary contains rare original footage, and interviews with the people were there in the days of the disaster. The people that contribute, with their heroic sacrifices, to avoid the worst human catastrophe in our history. Absolutely terrifying to discover what we risked, and the fact that, at the times (I live in Italy) we were told almost nothing about the true risks.
