Tunshi Xingkong (2020)
Hope is really needed sometimes to overcome your disbelief
When I first started watching this donghua I thought it will be one of those attempts of chinese animation industry to show up it's persistance to keep sticking with 3D animation that's never going to make a mark. But I am very glad that I was wrong. Amazing visuals that are backed by solid storyline and it's a feast to eyes. Now I can proudly recommend this to everyone saying that guyz I have found a masterpiece, don't miss watching it.
The amount of emotion that's been put into it can be clearly seen with each passing episode and how one person raises above all and becomes the hope that's absolutely necessary in the world this story takes place in. I loved how the world came together and stood against one common enemy. We can feel the sacrifices that were made and the hardships that people in that world are going through.
Most stories fall flat after first season but in this donghu's case the second season is much more solid. There are times when I though to lay it down but then comes a banger of a episode which makes you completely awed by the effort and depth put into that episode. I don't want to get into the story details as I want you to experience this visual wonder on your own and to let you count your own jaw dropping moments. Kudos to the makers. Best donghua ever. Keep going and make more awesome episodes and hope you get more recognition in the future for the efforts you put in for creating this.
The Umbrella Academy (2019)
Don't try to prevent the end that you always see coming
When i first came to know about this show i don't know why i didn't seem a lot surprised? may be that's cause of a lot of superhero shows been occupying our small screen since Daredevil became a huge hit on Netflix. But with the failure of Iron fist and a mediocre Luke cage this show didn't make me so excited. But oh my! this show hugely exceeded my expectations.
First few episodes were a bit slow but the show picked up pace in the later part of the season mainly from episode 6.The way things are going it makes you hugely satisfied until number five messes up the timeline. This gets on your nerves but you will always sees the apocalypse end coming.Maybe if the siblings had understood their sister,Vanya well you may think that this and all apocalypse thing wouldn't have happened but as i told you will always see the end but you won't or can't stop it coming no matter what choices you make and what you do.
With the things hanging on a thread by the end of first season my anticipations for the second season are high.
Magnolia (1999)
Well, that's the most you can get outta anyone.....
What's there to express? Everything i thought of writing down here had been said by the director.
That ending smile from Claudia (Melora walters) is what the director want to show you through the movie and I am telling you that smile defined it all and perfectly delivered the message.
A fine masterpiece that showed the love in hate, addiction in depression, hypocrite happiness, past regrets .Believe me these strange things happen all the time and not alone in this movie(as expressed by the director)
Then what and who will save this world amidst all these primal emotions?
Love and forgiveness are the key elements.
The actors delivered a fine performance and Melora walters, Tom cruise surely deserved an oscar.
The important part you want to notice is many people think that life is short and they do all kinds of things but you know what life is? Too long that the past sins will squeeze you and make you squeal and all your repentance and regret won't make the pain go easy and when you realize and make your decision of leading a nice life you are already a goner.
So think before you sin as life gets real short after your repentance and you will end up thinking that you have wasted your whole life.
Sad demise is not a perfect ending for any good movie or life, so i wish you all the very best with your life.
John Wick: Chapter 2 (2017)
Not all classy as the prequel but marks it's own style.
Ever since the release of the Matrix trilogy ,I am looking for the combination of Laurence Fishburne and Keanu Reeves and finally John wick 2 made it happen. Though the conversation is short it left me mesmerized.
With this movie Chad Stahelski made it clear that he's going to bring out a promising series.
While in first part the story centers around a small locality but all of sudden in this part Wick jumps into the big world. You will be astonished by the way things turn out like wick's connections and the marker which starts the spree. Coming to the highlights of the film, the conversation between Ian McShane(Winston) and Keanu Reeves(John wick) is top notch, especially the way Keanu Reeves pronounces makes the talk extraordinary. The actions are a bit brutal compared to first part that the audience will understand why's he considered so dangerous(John wick) by other characters in prequel. With all the action sequences and Keanu Reeve's acting the movie is surely a worth watching one.
Jarhead (2005)
The State of dilemma that does no one any good at end
"Got lost on the way to college" characterized Swofford represents the young people all around the world who are in a dazed state and are unaware of what to do with their lives.
In this movie Swofford simply goes on with his life just as if like accepting the fate. He sometimes regrets about parting his girlfriend and when he had seen his friend's wife cheating on him, he starts feeling suspicious about his girlfriend. All these punishments and suspicions give Swofford a mental break down. The fact of not even firing a shot and after returning home discovering that his girlfriend's got a new boyfriend and Troy's death made him feel bad for himself.
Jarhead is the movie that shows the soldier's feelings in a unique way and makes you rethink before you make any choices in your life.
The Matrix (1999)
Movie that laid foundation to modern era of Hollywood.
Wow...how can I explain about such a beautifully crafted picture that makes us live in with it for those 136 minutes?
It had been 17 years since it came and yet those scenes come across my mind whenever I hear that word MATRIX(even in my Mathematics class). I am not going to write about artistic performance here. What have we learned from Matrix?
Matrix shows us the life we are living that we ought to think as civilized and well advanced being blindfolded by the modern day advancements that are eating up the roots of humanity and the purpose of living.
Until Neo got a clear picture of the way the world is living and his life which he thinks is real, he too was blindfolded in same way like the rest. When once he got enlightened, then he understood the real meaning of his life.
Matrix simply satires on the modern day living of mankind. It's just a wake up call for humanity before it sinks deeply in this so called modernization.
