i have been out of Australia for several years and had not heard of the bra boys although i have been to maroubra beach as a young lifesaver in the early 90's.

this documentary unravels to reveal quite a moving story of the Abberton bros. their struggle growing up, their love of their family & friends, surfing formidable waves and ultimately their fight for freedom.

i enjoyed this documentary greatly and hope to see russell crowe involved in a movie based on these surfers lives.

i don't know why but all i seem to hear is how much people dislike this guy.

i have only seen 2 episodes (1 from season 1, and 1 from season 2) but i can truly admit that i find jack osbourne to be inspirational.

i watched him in all 'the osbourne' series and to see how this kid has turned his life around is truly an inspiring thing.

this kid has gone from an overweight teenage drug addict/alcoholic to a fit and healthy young man.

the show features jack training and competing in physical activities such as Thai Kick-boxing to Sahara desert crossing.

I recommend this show and will be picking up the DVD as soon as i can find it.

I would give this show a 10, but does anything really deserve that score?
