I thought this was a very touching plot and very poignant. Everything is told through subtle gestures and facial expressions Examples: When Andy peers over the newspaper to take a peek at her and the one tender moment between Andy and the woman. Andy quickly recovers himself before it is too late. I think the music is romantic and perfect for setting the mood.
The only thing that bothered me about this episode was that Barney seems to have forgotten all about Thelma Lou!
Andy Griffith was a phenomenal actor with a Midas touch! Susan Oliver is lovely--and was a great actress, too. Thumbs up for this episode!
