Avatar: The Way of Water (2022)
Familiar yet different
I was engrossed, of course. They explore a whole new part of the world. I can only imagine Disney creating a hotel version of their new living quarters. And, the climax near the end has some definite Titanic vibes. Unlike the first movie, this one leaves a few unanswered questions and story threads to be continued. We think we have a couple of them figured out, but will have to wait and see.
Spoilers, the bad guys are back, even some of the dead ones. Part of Sigourney Weaver lives on. Her Avatar was pregnant!? I think it is a virgin birth due to Awa, but it's not explained. Also, a human baby was left behind, gets raised like Tarzan sort of. Is he the general's son? Maybe.
Outsourced (2010)
Very funny bring it back
Every episode was hilarious and I loved getting to know more POC actors and actresses. I loved the Indian head nod I know people like this. Shouldnt have been cancelled but was concerned the main characters relationship arc might be jumping the shark. Who knows? We wont.
GCB (2012)
One of those hilarious shows that shouldn't have been cancelled
This is why we cant have good network TV and everyone has moved to streaming platforms
Spenser Confidential (2020)
I'd watch this as a serial
Perfect casting. Hilarious. I think they definitely set it up where he becomes a serial investigator. I'd watch it.
Joker (2019)
I was Worried I wouldn't like it.
The trailers seemed very dark and depressing. I loved earlier Jokers and couldn't imagine Joaquin Phoenix replacing them, and certainly didn't want to see someone subjected to abuse and failures in the system. So I waited till today. It was riveting. He is an anti-hero you watch develop and root for. It's moving to watch him overcome his problems, in a terrible/beautiful way. It's sad, but fascinating. At this moment in time there are riots in other places, and you want for those people to take back control over their lives in countries where communism and dictatorship is failing them. He is an agent of Chaos.
Love, Death & Robots: Shape-Shifters (2019)
This is the best up to now.
I can definitely see this expanded into a full scale movie. I was picturing Sam Worthington as the protagonist.
The Rookie: The Ride Along (2018)
Was hoping the VIP was Alan Tudyk
Was hoping the VIP was Alan Tudyk at first glance, its not, but this show is great. And, then of course, I was hoping his vest said WRITER.
The Frankenstein Chronicles: Lost and Found (2015)
Spoilers, but its Sean Bean, you should've seen this coming.
This episode takes an unexpected turn, just when everything was going all right. Bam your favorite character is dead. Really? It's Frankenstein with Sean Bean. I should've seen it coming.
