Like Frank's first feature-length film, "Max Peril" is hilarious, above all, but also surprisingly sweet and inspirational. There are so many quotable quotes! The story line is quite engaging, and good clean fun for the whole family. Good movies with no nudity/profanity/etc. DO EXIST! A lot of the characters are relatable and familiar. For a cast of mostly non-actors, I was very impressed with their ability, especially after learning that they were not technically given a script, just a basic outline to go by. I thoroughly enjoyed his portrayal of independent film makers and the festival circuit - too funny! I am continually amazed at what Frank Ladner is able to do with a small town and a small budget! Can't wait to see what he does next.
