Troll (2022)
A bit dissatisfied, but still
When Norway is making a movie, you know it's going to be good. But I'm a bit disappointed.
Out fellow Scandinavian neighbour, Norway, are amazing and making and telling the stories of Nordic mythology. They make movies that have a great mystery and drama like Beforeginers, Trolljegeren(Trollhunter 2010) and Bølgen(the wave 2015).
But im a bit dissatisfied with this one. It had a great suspense and plot in the beginning and in some scenes throughout the movie. But it just doesn't make it. It's like they are trying to make it more American.
I was something else. Like the typical Norwegian movie. But I'm glad Netflix took it! They need to make more international movies, and they have.
Over all, a bit Godzilla. But with Nordic mythology.
1899 (2022)
When is it?
A well written story with a lot of psychological thrillers. I wouldn't say there is a lot of horror, but it is surely tense!
The first half is something of the best I've ever seen, but I list the feeling in the second half. The ending was just below zero. I thought I'd finally would a post technology sci-fi series worth the wait of a second season.
Even though, I some what looking forward for the next season, if there will ever be one. (Netflix has it reputation about cancelling)
One thing that I strongly loved was all the different languages. I counted 13 different languages. And how everyone spoke to each other in their own languages without understanding the other.
Over all, definitely 9/10.
Moonshot (2022)
Something new
This movie is so underrated, I'm so glad I accidentally pressed play.
It's funny, well written and it's something I've never seen before. I really like the 50ies touch on the fashion and colours.
I like how slow it is, and each scene is so overthinked(?).
Moonshot is definitely on my top 20 movies.
Beforeigners: Episode #2.6 (2022)
Chills!
The start of the episode I was quite sad that this was the last episode and I thought that the third seasons would be about that time rip. Later when Lars played that other character I began to be hopeful again. Because again, I thought the whole season three would be played in this alternative universe.
I was happy when Jack was killed though.
At the end when we found out the story about Alfhildrs real life I got chills! Now I really looking forward to next season. Too bad we have to wait..
Riverdale: Chapter Ninety: The Night Gallery (2021)
The Rat King
The story told by Jughead at the AA meeting was just amazing. A great deal of writing had to be made by doing this. I would definitely read that book if it was ever written!
Cole Sprouse was, as usual and amazing actor as well. The other stories was OK, not super great but well written.
Raya and the Last Dragon (2021)
There are better Disney films
I think that we are a bit spoiled after receiving Frozen, Brave and Moana. It think Raya and the last dragon was a bit hasty. I love the concept but something was off. It was also a bit strange having the dragons talk, I think It would be better if they were mute.
I enjoyed it, and would love the see a follow up, but it wasn't as good as some other Disney.
The Wilds (2020)
Unexpected
It's funny when you find a series with actors and actresses that you've never seen before, and they are just amazing with such precision!
I've had this in my watchlist since it came out, and I'm mad at myself that it took this long for me to watch it.
This series is a combination between Lost and Truman show, and it was just incredibly unexpected!
The talent is overwhelming.
The Wilds: Day Twenty-Two (2020)
My head I exploding!
Damn. There is a lot going on here.
My two favourites is Leahs deep meeting with her emotions and (finally) Shelbys acceptance with her feeling towards women. I really liked the line after the kiss "are you sure?". It was a very mature reaction I've never seen before on TV.
Lucifer: Bloody Celestial Karaoke Jam (2021)
Miss
Omg!!!! Le miss! Damn that performance was stunning. Now I know what movie to watch tonight, yes you guessed it, Le Miserable!!!
Star Wars Biomes (2021)
Stunned
Amazing! Damn, I want this to roll in the background all the time. I want this one on a big screen on the wall on repeat in eternity!
Those shots was not expected, I'm in love!
The Handmaid's Tale: Milk (2021)
Stunning!
Madeline Brewer (Janine) is now on my favourite list. Damn her acting is brilliant and her character is just so sweet and truly good.
I'm a bit disappointed about June's harsh attitude towards her, and I hope that change in following episode, because Janine deserves some love!
Fate: The Winx Saga (2021)
Unexpectedly awesome
I thought this was one of those awkwardly bad acting series with overcompensating effects and bad acting. But I was happily surprised to find out this was going to be one of my new favourites tv shows. More than that, I was exited to see Abigail Cowen in the lead, since I liked her as Dorcas in Sabrina: the teenage witch.
This series gives a great mystery and drama. And even though, the script is kind of kliché, there is new and original ideas.
Riverdale: Chapter Seventy-Four: Wicked Little Town (2020)
The fuq?
This episode was trash!
Don't you dear split jughead and betty up!
I loved the final performance and see Kevin as a drag queen though.
Chilling Adventures of Sabrina: Chapter Thirty-Six: At the Mountains of Madness (2020)
A bit hasty, but a loving ending
I get that the fans of this series is sad that this is the final episode, but I definitely do not think this episode was bad. On the contrary I think it was one of the best. The ending was beautiful!
I'm sad tho that this series also fell under the cancelled shows of 2020. And I am very displeased with Netflix about this.
The chilling adventure of Sabrina Spellman deserves more seasons, like many other shows that came to an end in 2020.
Enola Holmes (2020)
My type of movie
It's funny, sad and IMPORTANT! I love it! And I love that they chose Millie Bobby Brown for the role.
Lucifer: Boo Normal (2018)
Confused
I really don't see where this episode is in this timeline, it makes me confused.
What I do know, is that I really want to see more of azreal aka Ray-ray!!
Warrior Nun: Revelation 2:10 (2020)
Seriously?
Love the series, but seriously, you can't end a season like THAT?!?!!
The Magicians: The Wrath of the Time Bees (2020)
Perfect
Beautiful episode. Lots of love and understanding between unfinished businesses.
The "am I about to become a double werewolf?" part had me crying out of laughter!
The Magicians: The Mountain of Ghosts (2020)
Heavy talk
Finally Alice and Elliot get to have a take.an emotional one. Tears were shared.
The Dead Don't Die (2019)
Mixed feelings
Loved everything about it, except the ending.
I really appreciate the nods to George Romero, Star Wars and zombieland.
The movie has a very slow moving theme, that I love, but it's not for everyone. The dialog reminds me of Wes Anderson and the action about Quentin Tarantino.
It's worth seeing!
Let It Snow (2019)
Nope
This is not a good movie. There is nothing wrong with the actors but the script is just really cliche and B.
Robin Hood (2010)
Noting more, nothing less
The is not a story about Robin Hood. It's a story about whom he was before.
It was entertaining,but not more.
Will I watch it again?
Maybe when I've forgotten about it.
Aquaman (2018)
Disappointed
After Justice League and Wonder Woman I was expecting more from Aquaman. It did have its moments, but it felt a bit "hasted" and the storyline was cliché.
I really liked the small parts we saw of the atlantians in Justice League, and I was hoping for they would keep that in this one. But they simply didn't.
Overall, I think it's a important piece in the DC universe, but the movie was simply boring.
And Also, boycott Amber Heard! I do not support domestic violence.
See: Fresh Blood (2019)
Damn well coordinated!
This series just keep climbing. In this episode we meet the two siblings, now 17 years old, and how they have adjusted to a world were everyone else is blind except those two. And just like any teenager, they rebel and do things their way.
I live how the series still amazes me with the incredible coordinations between all the actors. And the fighting scene at the end is just one of the best I've ever seen.
Great job!!
See: Godflame (2019)
New and eye opening
This is something I haven't seen before.
The first episode was started with a 25 minutes long scene and it was filled with well thought conversations and props.
With the idea that everyone is blind, they have to reimagine what sound really is and how it's used. This they do very well.
The way they put everything together is also done some with extremely hard work.
