Red Notice (2021)
Same old thing
Yeah, uh, I saw this same movie about 25 years ago. It was called Entrapment with Sean Connery and Catherine ZJ. Come on Hollywood try to be original some of the time.
Spider-Man: No Way Home (2021)
Mixed Feelings
First, I saw the very early bird IMAX show so I was still kinda tired. That said, act 1 was weird and didn't seem to flow correctly. Act 2 is when I actually dozed off during a key battle moment if that tells you anything. The film finally came together and felt like it a good flow by the time act 3 rolled around. I've seen Endgame 37 times and NEVER fallen asleep.
Honestly, Venom 2 was better.
The Courier (2020)
Slow but worth it
If you liked The Good Shepherd and your heart BURNS for Benedict Cumberbatch like I do then you'll like this movie.
Tenet (2020)
Keep the volume turned up
Like everyone else has been saying, this movie must be watched twice. And it's not because you're stupid or anything. It's because Chris Nolan has once again crafted such an intricate tale. The kind that hurts your head while you're watching and you don't know if you are in the past, present or future but JD Washington is ALWAYS mumbling in his conversations with Robert Pattinson. So like I said, keep the volume up.
Wonder Woman 1984 (2020)
Millennials are Horrible, Not WW 84!
First of all, if you weren't even alive in 1984 you shouldn't get to have a say as to what constitutes good cinema. Or, for that matter, what it takes to make good films. People have complained about the (lack of) plot and honestly do you think Warner cared about making sure it was awesome? No. They knew they had to have something with Wonder Woman in it and a villain to go up against.
Second of all, I think y'all are forgetting that this movie is based on a comic book character therefore the everything is meant to be taken completely and totally seriously. Case in point, Tim Burton's version of Batman. Oh that's right-all you millennials were still in diapers back then.
The Quarry (2020)
Stick with this one!
Yes, it started out extremely slow and trust me, it didn't pick up. I almost turned it off about 20 minutes in but there was something about this film that made me stick with it a little longer.
It's not a "whodunnit" by any stretch, they take care of that right away. But I was interested in the characters and the performances of the men. They were so relevant to today and the ongoing struggle in society over good v evil in whose eyes.
Friday the 13th (1980)
Classic horror film no matter what critics say
Friday the 13th is what it is.
Within the Horror genre, you have really amazing filmmaking that delivers on all counts the way you expect that it will. Then, you have ones like Friday the 13th, Brahms the Boy Part II or Final Destination part 12. Hopefully the people who view these films have enough sense to know what they're getting into from the beginning. They're fishing bass out of Crystal Lake, not lobster.

Polar (2019)
Grow up people 🙄
This movie was amazing! I'm mad about Mads and praying for a sequel. As for nudity and all that, didn't anybody see Wolf of Wall Street? Which was also equally bad in language. And as for violence, I believe there are 7 or so Saw films out there. Everyone needs to take the pacifiers out of their mouths. It's only when it's not relevant to the story that it's "offensive" for an audience.
