Miller's Girl (2024)
Frustration
This is one of the many movies with a lot of bad press. By having so much press, people are curious to see it, and it ends up having a large audience even though it is mediocre. Before the turning point, its plot is very basic and practically nothing happens. Then the protagonist begins to question her teacher, for not accepting her essay, and her friend, for being against what she does to the teacher. And so, overnight she becomes a bad person. The staging of her as a femme fatal is very basic. The dialogues between her and the teacher are boring. And in the end, she closes a chapter of her life, with a very elaborate reflection for her age. The best character, who also received the tastiest, hottest lines, is the professor's wife. She conveys the teacher's situation and his emotions very well.
Pain Hustlers (2023)
The movie is a copy of Painkiller.
The movie strikes me as a cheap, ultra-simplified rip-off of Painkiller, and it also has some Erin Brockovich in it. The story and the performances are very decadent. The evolution of the characters is very grotesque. The main character seems out of context in his entire performance. Having seen the movie Painkiller it is easy to understand what is going to happen. The character played by Emily Blunt reminds me of Julia Roberts in Erin Brockovich, but Julia plays that role excellently. It's a shame that there are so many good movies that don't have the marketing that this one has. On Netflix it is listed as the 2nd most popular film in Germany and I find it very strange.
Les amours d'Anaïs (2021)
A beautiful relationship between an adult woman and a mature woman
The film is very captivating, as long as you put aside your prejudices and preconceptions, and let yourself go. The main character is very attractive and is shown leading a life with obstacles, but also overcoming them, to the point that not only his social, family, economic, but also emotional well-being comes into play, for which against all odds she fights to be happy.
I had the opportunity to immerse myself emotionally in the story, thanks to the excellent performances of the main leads and the way the director managed to capture the emotions of these great actresses.
The ending is priceless and is the consecration of a great story.
The Killing (2011)
A copywrite from the Danish serie The Killing???
It has the same argument as the 2007 serie "The Killing". This is the Danish serie argument: A young girl's brutal murder launches an extended police investigation just when Detective Sarah Lund is supposed to leave for a new life in Sweden, and she can't leave the case behind. The girl's parents and friends struggle to cope with their loss. Troels Hartmann is campaigning to be mayor of Copenhagen, but struggles when links are revealed between City Hall and the murder. Over a 20-day time-span, suspect upon suspect is sought out as violence and political pressures cast their shadows over the hunt for the killer."
Hunters (2020)
I really liked it
I think it was fun to watch the ending was crazy and it has very good characters. I also think that peolple should know more about the Jews in the Second World War .
