A gripping film that makes you happy
10 November 2019
Once you start watching the film Ahare Mon, you cannot leave. Yet it is not a suspense film. It is romantic, highly romantic. Editing and dialog is superb. There are four inpendent love stories, but at the end they are getting connected. I hope to see many more brilliant film from the same director in future.

I loved this movie
13 October 2019
Despite tons of criticism in this forum, I would say I loved to watch this movie. It is so much inspiring. The visual technicalities are done like Hollywood movies. There is a good story line. The movie is never boring and quite gripping. While the respect towards science in mass population is going down, I would hope after watching this movie, many children would dream about becoming scientists. The acting of Akshay Kumar and Vidya Balan is fantastic. The set up is spectacular. I would thank the director immensely even to think of making this movie and take this bold attempt.

Awesome...something unique
6 June 2019
The film is unique. From start to end, only computer screen is shown. Through computer screen, you shall watch emotion, suspense and mystery via a series of mouse clicks. The concept itself is amazing and innovative.

Once you start watching, you shall be glued till the end.

NH10 glues you to the seat
21 November 2015
Once you start watching, you can not leave your seat. The brutality is horrific. It is not advisable to watch with family members.

Anushka is superb. The most part of the movie is the night and dark environment; especially at latter part of the story. That is the only drawback; but the story demands like that. The plot is very good. It is not a movie of a standard plot. There is no song in between which weakens the tension.

The message in the movie: Do not jump into a trouble and make a mess around you.

The only weak portion of the movie, which I feel, is that Arjun shoots an innocent man, who was little bit mentally challenged, of the gang in an accidental fight. Why should the gang take a mentally challenged member in a cruel operation?

PK should shake your religious belief
27 December 2014
The subject of God and Religion is very debatable. When questions are raised over common religious practices it may often hurt many who have unchangeable belief on their own religion and blind faith over religious gurus. PK is such a movie which tries to enlighten one to go beyond a religious boundary in the form of comical laughter. In 2012, a film "OMG – Oh My God!" was based on the similar topic. However, PK excels OMG in all forms. Consider yourself as PK, who has come as visitor on this earth with no previous religious knowledge and the concept of God, and observe various religious practices, to appease God and Gurus out of fear. The idea is not new. Democritus, in the fifth century B.C. said, "The ancients seeing what happens in the sky, for example, thunder and lightning and thunderbolts and conjunctions of the stars and eclipses of the Sun and Moon were afraid, believing gods to be the cause of these." Bertrand Russell in his article "Why I am Not a Christian?" supports the same idea. However, PK demonstrates all these ancient theories in a very humorous way, which might impact and awaken new enlightened generation. The message that no Priests or Gurus are to be worshiped, which is already a well established part of Brahmo religion, is again well dramatized by Rajkumar Hirani, the film director. The underlying fact that there exists no difference in Human beings to all religions is brilliantly proved in the film. But, the question remains unanswered: How do you change your fundamental religion belief after watching this film?
