Titans (I) (2018–2023)
3/10
Season 2
21 September 2019
Season 1 was very good and I gave it a decent review, but I have no idea what happened with the writers between then and now. So far, 3 episodes in, Season 2 is terrible - unbelievable situations, stupid character decisions meant only to propel the plot such as it is, lazy writing, the acting is unconvincing, and it's all so predictable, stupid, and boring boring boring. I find myself doing lots of other things while it's playing, not missing anything interesting, and desperately awaiting a new season of Doom Patrol, a far and away better show than this relentlessly blue tinged humorless dreck.

Russian Doll (2019–2022)
9/10
Outstanding
3 February 2019
This series was a wonderful surprise. Like some other reviewers, I was put off by the first couple of episodes but I stuck with it and I'm so glad I did. The show is called Russian Doll for several reasons, and I think one of them is that the first couple of episodes are like the outer doll, which is just the superficial first layer, but then each episode reveals more and more until you get to the amazing final chapter. The cast is excellent, and the writing is superb, getting better with each episode.

Titans: Hank and Dawn (2018)
Season 1, Episode 9
10/10
Outstanding effort
8 December 2018
This episode fills the backstory of Hawk and Dove but is by no means a lesser chapter. Its one of my favorite episodes of TV this season and the best of Titans so far. Directing, writing and acting were excellent, and Alan Ritchson was truly outstanding, he gives an unexpected depth to Hank that is emotionally gripping. Minka Kelly does the same for Dawn and together they carry this show beautifully.
