Waste of talents, efforts and money
3 February 2024
The actors, the technical support, the musicians and Tripti Dimri are so much betrayed with their talents just because one man could not control his sexual frustration. This guy needs a psychologist who will only ask him how many times he have sex or rather how much devoid he is to make this kind of tatti. Apparently, his approach of any problem is sexual.

First 1 hr I felt the narrative needed it to be twisted but going further into the movie just proved that there is no narrative at all. I can't see cinema as a artform to be ruined by some sick psychos.

I wish I could Stop young generation from taking inspiration from these kind of movies. But the box office numbers speaks for itself. People will rather be animal and treat others as animals than trying to be more human.

What a waste of time and money.
23 July 2023
The first installment was a slapstick comedy but at least those jokes landed smoothly. It was able to extract few laughter. But this movie is horrible. Based on the success of 'Bibaho Obhijaan' and the trailer of this movie, I was thinking of going to the theatre to watch this with my wife and friends. Thank God the plan got cancelled and I saved my skin.

The movie is relying on the success of the previous one. Rudranil did horrible job of writing this. The story showed some progress in the beginning and by the ending, your could be killing yourself. Ankush and Rudranil were as irritating. But talents like sohini and Anirban are totally wasted. Sourav as usual is offensive as his other ventures.

Nothing good about the movie. The foreign outdoor scenes also cannot make it worth. Please avoid and bless yourself.

Nothing fancy delivered what was expected.
29 June 2023
People who are saying this movie is worse than the last may not remember the first one probably. In first edition, there was 2 good segments, 1 mediocre segment and 1 terrible segment. This movie exactly has the same.

First story is too much spoon-feeding for audience. Similar to what R Balki generally keep on doing. Storyline is boring and gets irritating by the time it ends. They believed they could deliver like 'Badhai ho' but failed miserably.

Story 2 was mediocre but actingwise very much satisfied. Amrutha Subhash and Tillotama are masters. Direction from Koko di is perfect. No wonder.. it is in her genes.

Story 3 was straight out of Aeshop fables. And indeed there was a fairy. Tamannah is just drop 'dead' gorgeous (pun intended). But Vijay is getting stereotyped by doing same 'innocent face but evil intention' roles. Sad for him.

Story 4 was good but predictable. Kumud Mishra was best. Kajol just continued her role from 'Salaam Venky'. Nothing fancy to deliver considering her calibre.

Complete hit and miss
31 December 2022
The film tried to be something else but turned out something else at the end. The plot and characters were developed till the last 15 mins. But everything went to drain and unrealistic screenplay came to the front. The climax may have brought some adrenaline rush but not that impactful what the movie has planned to be. Overall a great effort but climax has ruined it all.

Amala Paul did her best to portray the character to perfection. The confusion, disgust, and helplessness were well portrayed. Ultimately the screenplay went Hayward with new character being introduced from nowhere just to put sense into the climax. But as I said, it was forcefully done and not convincing.

Can't understand why people going bizarre about this movie
27 October 2022
To be honest, I totally knew the story before stepping into the theatre but still hoped for a surprising or amazing visual and audio experience that people are praising vehemently. I watched the whole movie with that expectation. But me and many others were definitely misled. The movie is nothing but a loud action over-the-top south Indian flick. Maybe people have put their divine and spiritual view while watching but as a true movie buff who appreciates movies irrespective of the language, i can say it is totally disappointing. The climax people are praising about is so loud i had to close my ears. I just couldn't find a single person in the theatre who was satisfied with the movie. I can see why good Indian movies are not appreciated as these bogus movies are.. sole reason is that 80% people don't apply their own senses and just follow the herd. Praise whatever majority praise and boycott whatever majority says. No brains applied.

Rubbish Unrealistic movie. I don't understand why people rated it highly!!
10 September 2022
I just wasted my 2 hours. I don't know what did people rated this movie so highly! Completely unrealistic. Too sweet people without any job. Everyone is so goody goody. Life is not that easy. There is nothing much in the story. Just a 2 hours slog. Acting by the main lead is decent, but other actors are pretty ordinary.

I really pity those people who has praised this movie and recommended it. I think they're still living in 90s where unrealistic romantic relationship were in. It was a pain to bear that movie in Prime Video since, there is no speed adjuster. Had to skip it every now and then due to cheesy emotional scenes.

Totally disgusted.

Utter garbage
14 December 2021
I was watching this movie and left in between since it was so slow and pathetic. After watching the reviews, I thought there maybe something good at the end. But how you wronged me. The film is utter rubbish. Maybe Saswata da has refused after hearing the script. So amateurish. So many plotholes, so much redundant scenes, cheap VFX and so much. The film ending itself is too hurried and somehow tried hard to fit in the Kahani reference. That scene is total absurd. I won't put AB wrong because he chose to work on a bad project. But it is Sujoy Ghosh who to blame to provide his daughter to debut with a cheaper product than Dhonu's chowmein.

What a Garbage
3 October 2021
The film is utter garbage. The talented starcast has totally been wasted. I understand that it's a low budget movie. But how can people can droop so low in the name of creativity! Poor VFX, unnecessary skin show, predictable 1 hr movie stretched to 2.5 hrs. I thank God that in OTT, I had the power to forward the bad scenes and trust me there are lots of them. I can't imagine how devastating it would have been if people watched in theaters. They surely would have needed psychiatric treatment.

Movie is made for movie lovers and not for moral policing
14 July 2021
I thoroughly enjoyed the movie. After 'om shanti Oshana', I became fan of Jude. His quirky and light hearted way of storytelling can touch any movie lover.

Now coming to the problematic side of the society. I am really appalled by the negative reviews of people. People are rating 1,2,3 just because they didn't find the author's ending perspective according to their taste. How ridiculous! This is not only a question of creative liberty. But also a freedom of speech. I think people who think they need happy ending, they got it. But there is no way one can generalize happiness. These reviewers need to grow up soon. Or stick to watching saas-bahu drama instead where everything will be done to please society.

Good direction and acting but a forced sequel
30 March 2021
As it happens for most of sequels it ruins the experience, but not with this. Jethu Joseph who pulled out a brilliant script last time could be expected to pull out something extraordinary. But... but not a masterpiece. I will agree that the buildup was nice, but all the long stretched sub plots build up to a over-the-top climax. I had to watch the entire movie in 1.5x until the last 15 mins. Unnecessary characters such as Anu's boyfriend, Mary, Jose's mother doesn't even contribute anything to the main plot.

It is overwhelming to believe that George kutty would have spend so much time and money just to rely upon chances, instead he could have left the town with his family and got rid of all evidences.

Nevertheless, Writer took creative liberty and executed it well. Makes up for a entertaining but hurried climax. Hopefully everyone now can sleep in peace. And Varun can 'rest in peace' 😉

Literally Painful. Keep some comedy movies handy to get out the shock!!
13 March 2021
It is brilliantly directed and acted, it is gut wrenching, it is overwhelming. And you have to watch it in chronological order. No the stories are not connected in any way but chronology helps to build up your capacity to take pain. It's like increasing order of torture. It was saddening but still fine with me till 3 episodes since, at the end, there were few happy or satisfied people. But the last one is hard hitting. Totally not deserved for the people who hang around for the whole series in spite of the pain. I don't want to reveal anything. But Sai Pallavi being one very close to my heart, it is unbearable to watch her in the last act. Audiences didn't deserve this.

Wrong take on wrong turn
28 December 2020
What a waste of time!! People who have rated this high, have never actually followed this genre ever. For me, who have watched Multiple gore movies like, Serbian film, human centipede, wrong turn, saw, hills have eyes, this movie is not at all up to the mark. Just started writing with the agenda of women empowerment, and introduced gore and useless bloodshed to add the shock element is just not worth it.

I have rated this 3/10 solely for the acting, background score and the camerawork. Script is the soul of a movie and it seems they have smashed that with a stone. Rest of the movie is just carcass. Learn from NH10 if you want to make a revenge thriller. Just feeding gore and no logic is just an assumption that Indian audiences are not evolved enough and you can give them tatti.

I have watched the movie in 2x and still I felt it too long. Only advice, watch at your own risk. You might loose your precious time.

Heartful
17 December 2020
The message was loud and clear.. we're alive not only for ourselves but for the people around us. Every single person who crosses our paths through the lifetime, etches a mark in the memory. At the end of the day, we're alive for the memories. It makes us who we are. Without them we're nothing.

What a waste of time
24 November 2020
This is the second time, I went for a movie after many recommendations. First was 'Item patakha tota maal'. And totally annoyed by the fact that people think taking up social issues and putting them in pot will make the dish delicious. But forget it's not only the ingredient that makes a food delicious, the cooking process is equally important.

For the anecdote for first 10 mins.. you get interested expecting something bold or new to discover.. but you soon realize your mistake when the next story starts. Coincidentally, the character name is 'Nala' which translates in my language to gutter. Quite appropriate.

Wish all the best for people who praise of this utter garbage.

Movie Exaggerated, but a story worth telling
22 August 2020
I am a person who believes in giving the due credit to the deserving people. I won't rate this movie 1 rating just because of nepotism tag on the lead actor. So here is my honest review on this movie. The story is based on true events but not the truth. Lot of things have been ruined in name of creative liberty. Over the top drama created over smallest of things and unimaginable sequence of things does really make it annoying. You will definitely Miss the fire that you get From a movie like 'uri'. Acting wise, only commendable works from Pankaj Tripathi and Manav Vij. Angad bedi is pathetic. Jahnvi did the best she could do. We mustn't forget she has just started to take flight. Not a fighter yet. So she deserves more opportunities. Just because she is related to Kapoor family doesn't make me discredit her efforts. Direction, cinematography does well.. music not something to remember. Overall, A Good weekend watch but can be missed. Trust me you can read the stories about Gunjan Saxena and appreciate her in your own way. You don't have to waste time or money on the movie.

Strong and simple
20 August 2020
Rightly named the movie has a clear similarity to the product 'axone' itself. Something simple but having strong impact on other ingredients. The movie displays the similar tonality of story telling. The story revolves around trivial daily tasks and certain plan of get together. Still that is so nicely designed to show what are the real daily struggles the people of northeastern states has to face in metropolitan cities like Delhi. The message is clear - It is time to demolish the walls and join hands to bring everyone closer. Respect each other and enjoy togetherness.

Commendable efforts and well designed for Indian audiences
26 July 2020
Firstly, yes it is definitely the last movie of #itsSSR, and everyone is totally pain struck seeing him playing a similar role in the movie, But still It's not only SSR's movie. We have to look into other aspects as well. The movie is definitely the best Indian adaptation of the John Greens book. Ioved the way it was presented in subtle lighthearted manner with keeping all the emotional elements intact. There is not much to complain about the movie. One can find There is lack of content At the end but it's how the book is. That's cannot be the moviemakers fault. Mukesh Chabbra did exceedingly well considering this is directorial debut. All Actors did what they do Best- be natural. Be it Sushant, Sanjana, Swastika, Saswata, everyone was at peak of their performance. Last but not the least, maestro AR Rehman sir made a came back in Bollywood after long time and my god he's still the best.. music plays huge role in the movie and you know no one could have done it better. Overall, a decent emotional watch with no complaints. Innocence of kizie and manny will make you feel them.. 💖💖

Certainly overrated
28 April 2020
I was really impressed by the direction, no doubt and few other aspects of the movie but certainly not worth of Oscar. Just a normal movie which was going good until everything went beyond reality and started going haywire. Would have been much better if it have kept the thrilling story of their play in other difficult situations without being all gory at the end! Overall good till 1:30 hrs. Later it's just not amazing. Too much overrated. Don't know why they don't consider other masterpieces coming from third world countries.

Waste of talents
18 April 2020
So here I am reviewing the movie after watching it on prime. And thankfully I had the option to fast forward it. Otherwise it is certainly going to give you a headache. The writer just wanted to tickle public sentiments about LGBTQ community and totally put garbage in the script. Ayushmann worked on this for his debt towards the writer for 'Shubh Mangal savdhaan'. Jeetu has no option since no one cast him in any movie though having immense talent. Don't know why Maanvi, Neena Gupta and Gajraj Rao agreed to work on this garbage. Certainly poorest movie by content king Ayushmann. His 'nautanki saala' was still bearable but not this. Not only this movie is waste of talent, money and time, it is definitely recommended if anybody wants painful migraines.

Ending ruined it all
15 March 2020
The whole over the top 'millanialism' was good if only it would have build up to something better. The story revolves back and forth of the events that happened on the 'V' day. But the writers has messed up big time culminating a raita of small-town racism, socialism, lots of surrealism and above all feminism. The whole point of a thriller has been totally flushed into the gutter by unnecessary drama by the victim, the solicitor, the accused, and accused's friends. The ending was so so cliched, doesn't even matter what it all started with. All we end up the credits with #metoo and celebrating a culture where people are fine with passing judgements on social medias and not giving a s#it about it a day later.

A story worth telling
3 March 2020
Growing instability among young couples are in a place of concern today. Different Priorities in today's young couples are often rusting the very base of the relationships. Sinha's approach towards such marital relationships is commendable. Thappad shows how to make the right decision for one's own self respect and fight for what's right. how beautifully the movie portrayed the grey layers of different people while they may look black or white from distance. All characters are displayed in their true self and not making anyone a saint or a devil. Everyone has flaws and one should be courageous to accept them. There are people who are telling why she is taking divorce for just a slap. But Sinha has clarified that through Amy's voice where she says.. how everything changed, everyone changed since then. It's not the slap that is the problem here, it's the casual treatment people gave to it.

Not a sleazy comedy
28 February 2020
Going by the trailer, I was so sure that it was going to be a sleazy comedy without much script or perspectives on offer. Hence, I didn't go to theatre even on many invitations. But surprisingly, when I started watching this movie for a light hearted comedy, it turned out to be a mature and compact movie that has lot of sense and not only sleazy jokes. I liked the pace too.. without being too slow or boring. All the 4 actors are on their best. Overall a good one time watch.

Good but first instalment was better
23 February 2020
The theme of the story was well known to everyone. But still emphasised over the top that every villain who is a misogynistic man who feels woman shouldn't be the hero. But last film was not that one sided. This one creates more unnecessary drama and suspense while the villain unveiled before interval itself killing the whole thriller. First one has a twist where antagonist's mother was equally responsible for the crime. Acting is biggest usp of this movie. Both Rani and Vishal are outstanding but sadly there is no other character stand out due to lack of dimensions in the script. Good One time watch unlike its predecessor.

True depiction of love in the changing times
23 February 2020
Along with many other people I too went to the theatre with zero expectations from this movie. Same concept with worse cast with less romance blah blah.. comparisons are bound to happen with the original movie. But surprisingly, this movie brought the old Imitiaz Ali to me, who I thought was lost in the pressure of commercialism. This love story absolutely depicts the love stories appropriate to their time. The loss, the grief, the butterflies in the stomach, the desperation, the despair, the repentance, the repercussions- all has been honestly depicted. Less marks for the delivery by the new age actors but I think they did their best and have lot to learn. Music could have been better, specially after comeback by Pritam Da through HMS. And yes.. Sara looked amazingly cute

A true Masterpiece
22 February 2020
I have seen this movie when it released and I was in class 10. My mom and me was watching. After some sensitive scenes came on screen, she switched the channel. That's the time I knew nothing about movie making and the art that goes behind. Later whenever I watch this movie, never keep myself about not appreciating the art. Hats off!!
