Death to 2020 (2020 TV Special)

Sieg Heil to Netflix
3 January 2021
Death is easy, comedy is hard.

Cons may find this movie hurts, but truth often hurts. I was laughing so hard at the movie that it hurt. But joking aside, the ending of the movie is chilling. Trump may be over, but can America handle a more cunning, younger, more competent dictator wannabe. It's a frightening thought.

Rey, I am your father's father
7 August 2020
If the emperor had said that, at least it would make a funny moment in an otherwise miserable, incoherent, messy movie. So many parts of this movie break established norms in Star Wars universe (such as Rey's healing power) that it's almost sacrilegious to call this a Star Wars movie.

But such is what we get when Kathleen Kennedy decided that in making a multi-year trilogy, each director could ignore previous script and decided to do whatever he wanted.

Himitsu no Akko-chan (1969–1970)

A timeless classic which started the golden age of magical girl genre
1 October 2011
Simply a classic. Shows after shows present the timeless human story punctuated by comic relief with the cats. No special effect, no complicated plot, just simple stories with simple lessons.

This was an enormous success in Japan, which explained why 2 more TV series came in the 80's and the 90's and also 2 movies made in the 70's.

The success of this TV series validated the magical girl genre - a girl possessed a magical object which she used to solve everyday's problems. Later successful animation series such as Hana no Ko Lunlun built on this theme.
