The Three Es (2015)
Topic every American should be made aware of
Gritty realities aren't sugar coated in this film. The script is powerful in how raw humor depicts vulnerable and sometimes unflattering human emotion. Don't despair, this film brings you on an emotional journey, but does not leave you bereft of hope. I'm thankful to have a smidgen of understanding of military families that wait for and support their loved warriors. These family members are silent heroes of everyday life, and they deserve for their story to be told. The Three Es honors these families with wit and love.
Jason Aaron Goldberg has achieved an incredible feat of bringing his extraordinary script to life in this, barely a single shoestring budget, production. This independent film bows to no one, thus allowing a compelling story to be told in an effective way, untainted by corporate or sponsor control.
