The Flight Before Christmas (2015)
Decent movie
I've seen lots of people complain about this movie, about Mayim Bialik being too rude, sarcastic, ugly or prickly or whatever, but I love it. Women don't have to be blonde, optimistic and bubbly. This movie has a snarky and sarcastic female lead, and it really works. Sure, if you want the stereotypical christmas romance, this movie might not be for you. And if you can't deal with a woman being strong and sarcastic and maybe slightly awkward, feel free to skip this one. If a woman has to look a certain way to be a female lead, well I'm just sorry for you. Go and choose another movie. And maybe reexamine your life choices. Or go out and meet some real women. Merry Christmas, y'all. Merry Christmas.
The Royal Treatment (2022)
What did I just watch
Well that was a waste of time. The only enjoyable thing about this movie was the chemistry between the Prince and Izzy. Everything else was bad. Including the accents. The acting was stiff, the movie had no new ideas, and putting a multicultural people in an architectural English country with German language is...just also really bad. Come on guys! You could've created something amazing out of this!
Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. (2013)
Fitzsimmons saves the show...
The first 3 seasons are pretty great, but it just went downhill after that. Seasons 5-7 are pretty much unwatchable. Fitzsimmons are the only reason I suffered through it. They're absolutely adorable and wonderful and OTP.
Superstore: Video Game Release (2018)
The episode could've worked 10 years ago
I feel like in the age of digital copies of...every video game, this episode could've worked today, but parts of the subplot make no sense today.
Girl Meets World (2014)
Just no
The only good thing about this show are Cory and Topanga. And I really wish they'd have more romance between them. The kids are horrible. Seriously. Don't watch this if you're looking for a new Boy meets World. It's just a cheap copy.
Barbarians (2020)
Why downplay one of the greatest battles in German history?
So the show isn't totally bad. The architecture and costumes are pretty good. But the whole build up is to a battle that lasts like 20 minutes. The battle lasted 4 days. They should've shown the struggle and drama of those 4 days. Not a quick battle with a decisive victory after a few hours...
Mr. Iglesias: Food for Thought (2020)
Not properly thought through
I really don't like Marisol in this episode. She didn't think her point through. If she argues with the logic she uses, only Italians are allowed to sell pizza and pasta, only Germans are allowed to sell most bread, and only the French are allowed to sell croissants. It seems like she's looking for trouble for the sake of trouble
Doctor Who: Twice Upon a Time (2017)
Just get a German actor!!
I liked seeing the 1st Doctor again and all, but as a German I'm absolutely sick of German characters being portrayed by non-German actors with horrible accents. Just get a German actor!!!
A Christmas Prince: The Royal Baby (2019)
Quite nice. But where's the wheelchair?
It's a nice movie. Just like the other 2. But one thing is seriously bothering me. There's this character that's been in a wheelchair for the first 2 movies. And suddenly she barely uses it anymore? Mostly the crutches. Why?
