DARLING in the FRANXX: The Beast and the Prince (2018)
I wish it was a Movie.
Surely the best episode of the anime. Is wonderful for a romance, is wonderful for a flashback-episode, is wonderful for everything! The finale is a masterpiece, the writer create a heart-warming and tearfull episode. I love romance-story, like Your Name, The Longest Ride, the Wind Rises and so on, and when i saw that episode i suddenly thank that this would be a flawless Movie: i wish it was a Movie.
DARLING in the FRANXX: Never Let Me Go (2018)
The best ending for the direction the plot had.
That finale is not a bad finale... But why will you feel bad after watching it? This finale end in the best way the storyline starting since the first episode: the storyline about "return to the origin", to the Old Earth, a finale that you (better. Me) await for the entire season, an ending that you start to foretaste since the 10th episode (at least for me). But this episode can't be better than this, and not for the episode's fault, but for the construction of the Anime:
Since the beginning the author want to create a character that it's only reason to exist was to be the best in the serie, they succeed, without Zero Two that anime isn't the same. But if you create a character made for be the most popular, the story must take a different path. This end make you (me) feel bad because you (me) understand how Zero Two/Hiro storyline is more important that the anime plot itself! This episode isn't bad, is a very good episode, an happy ending, but not the happy ending i (and think a lot of people) hoped. Isn't bad the death of that two characters (even if they re-incarnate) but the fact that their death was maden by an enemy that appear for the last 4 episodes; the fact that for all the series it wasn't a single time when everyone was happy and simply live, it wasn't.
If an ending that you await for more than a half of a series don't make you happy, is because you don't perceive the good thing happening, because the character you love, the character create for be "Iconical" don't have the good ending you wanted to see. This is fault of the storyteller: if you create a character made for be loved, you can't proceed like the beginning since everyone start to want a good ending for that characters and only later, the good ending for all other characters. So this episode is hard to rating, personally i don't like it, i'm feel bad after watching it, if my rating was only for my emotion, i would rate 3 or 2, but that episode don't deserve it that rating. But isn't a good episode only because the story itself end in a bad way: the plot twist of the enemy from the space in my opinion was the point when the series start to downgrade, and this episode, even if do it flawlessy, can't do something impossible: adjust a bad plot twist.
The Simpsons: Cape Feare (1993)
Potential the best, but a bland episode.
One of the darkest episode of "The Simpsons" starts in the best way, with a parody of some thriller story about a killer (Bob sending letter written with blood and faint) the darkest mood in the beginning is something very enjoyable thanks to the well written scenography, unfortanely the second part of the story is really bland, most-inducing laugh (the iconic scene of rakes it's one of that scene, but the parade well) and really confusing (Why Sideshow wait for an entire episode if he need to block the family? What's the meaning of the "Parate" scene? Why rakes appear all of a sudden? etc.). I see that was considered one of the best episode of the serie but cite "Psycho" "Friday the 13th" or be a parody of a movie doesn't mean be the best, in my opinion is on of the worst Sideshow Bob's episode with "Bob Next Door".
The Simpsons: Homer the Great (1995)
Surrealistic, wrong, that is one of the explanation of Simpsons Decline.
Wrong, Bored, some time issues, so annoying jokes, a lot of time issues (Why C. M. Burns had a grade below Lenny & Carl? Is impossible that Burns save a life so it's a Stonecutter thanks to his father, so why is possible that Lenny & Carl have grade upper? Also if this episode is true episode like "Last Exit To Springfield", "Who Shot Mr. Burns" and more are illogicale because why people permise to a such low grade like Mr. Burns to do so many violence against they?). Is also so surreal that didn't make the effect want it. Probably... ONE OF THE WORST EPISODE MADE BY SIMPSONS.
The Simpsons: The Blunder Years (2001)
One of the best storyline in "The Simpsons", i think.
I really love the story : from the start to the finish. The episode start to the Marge's love about "Chad", that start point is for bringing the family to the real episode's story.
All thing in this episode are helpful to the storytelling (For example: Chad for the lake), even if the episode have goofs (Smithers Jr.'s age vs Homer's age) the condtruction of the plot are effective (In the first flashback Homer and friends heard felt of pressure in Mr. Burns's Nuclear power plant, that there are the reason of Smithers Senior's death).
It was a clever/studied episode, even if had lack of humor it was one of the best Simpsons episode, a must watching if you are a fan.
