I can't believe that this episode is so low rated. This is the most perfect ending to this series. This episode completely encapsulates the essence of the entire show. Ted ending up with Robin, even though they knew that they weren't compatible, is the entire moral of the story that love does kot see reason or compatibility or any kind of logic, love is something that we just feel in our heart and in we just know that this is right. And it is also very poetic in the way that Tracy died just like her ex-lover and as if they were reunited in the afterlife. Similarly, Barney found his reason to change and reason for a meaningful life. And most importantly, it was the realism of this episode that captured my heart. People do drift apart as the years go by, but the feeling that we have for each other remains, and what really matters is that we care for the people who were/are close to us, even though we might not see them as often as we used to.
