I have been waiting for this movie ever since it was first announced but I had my reservations because I never liked arthouse movies (like The Lighthouse) much. And the fact that it was coming from Robert Eggers whose worried me even more since both his movies so far have been arthouse. But when I watched it theatres, I absolutely loved it. The cinematography, the acting, the fight choreography, the production were all top notch. The only reason I'm not giving it 10 stars is because they have spoiled the movie's biggest twist in one of the promotional clips. I'm also bitter that Claes Bang's involvement in the movie was never highlighted during the promotion, which is surprising considering that he plays the second lead character and gives one of his best performances to date.

All in all, it's a great movie and I strongly recommed it to those who haven't watched it yet.
