Real life examples showcasing robosexuality
6 titles |
Public
This is a list of documentaries, tv-series and similar that showcases robosexuality "in real life", in contrast to examples from my other list "Fictional examples showcasing robosexuality."
Those examples will later on be analyzed at my blog (which I have yet to set up) that'll be focusing on studying how robosexuality "is allowed to exist" in different filmed medias, in this case mainly in filmed interviews.
What follows is the episode name from each of the tv-series named in this list: 1. My Strange Addiction - "Married to a Doll", season 1, episode 8. 2. Mostly Human with Laurie Segall - "I Love You, Bot", season 1, episode 3. 3. Mind Field - "Artificial Intelligence", season 1, episode 4.

Fictional examples showcasing robosexuality

Movies, tv-series, and animes that in some form showcases the subject of robosexuality (romantic love and/or sex) between humans and artificial individuals.
I'll add movies/series even if there's just a few scenes in the whole movie that's robosexual in its nature, with A.I from 2001 as one example. I'll also add controversial and/or non-consensual examples to this list, with Blade Runner from 1982 as one controversial example, and Demon Seed from 1977 as one non-consensual example.

Notes: 1. I believe "A Mechanical Husband" from 1910 was the first movie ever to represent robosexuality, but I am not 100% sure.
2. I've added "Star Trek: The Next Generation - The Offspring" to this list, aware that it is a bit of a stretch, but I've decided to include it anyway.
