Solo: A Star Wars Story (2018)
A surprise to be sure, but a welcome one
I'm a gigantic Star Wars fan, but due to gradually losing faith in Disney (I think Rogue One was a masterpiece, Last Jedi was a great film with a mediocre story, but Force Awakens is an abomination) and hearing all of the changes and possible negatives surrounding Alden Ehrenreich, I was incredibly skeptical going in. I was very pleasantly surprised. Not only was the story very good and told fantastically, but Ehrenreich completely stole the show (its surprising in itself to have to say the lead "stole the show" but in this case he had to due to the anticipation for Donald Glover's Lando Calrissian). He captured Han Solo better than I bet even he thought he was capable of. The ending I find weak, as Lucasfilm and Ron Howard give viewers a huge reveal, and only to just end the movie and leave little to no plot resolution. I give this movie 7.5/10 stars, but due to the rating system on his website I rounded up to 8. Definitely go see this in theaters, real fans will not regret it.
The 100: Perverse Instantiation: Part Two (2016)
people are dumb
As i have said on reviews on another episode, the only reason these episodes have bad ratings is because fangirls still haven't gotten over the death of an LGBT character, even though this is a show where anyone can die at any time. Actually get over yourselves. this season is not as good as the first two yeah, but giving quality television a bad rating because you're somehow offended by the death of a character on a show that is made to show the toughness of survival? give me a break. please don't let these reviews keep you from watching this show, these people are classless. what i will admit about this show is that it felt like i never truly understood ALIE's plan, and it ended in a way that was the same basically as season 2 except more abrupt and no one died. That being said this episode deserves more of an 8 rating but I'm just trying to boost the overall rating of this episode with the ten.
the ending ends in a way that makes you want more. personally cannot wait for season 4 for the squad to figure out what to do about the new nuclear catastrophe.
The 100: Perverse Instantiation: Part One (2016)
good
As I said on the previous episode, the only problem that I have with this show right now is that it doesn't feel like the 100 anymore, the im not fan of the whole robopocolypse thing and mind control in what used to be a very original show. But even with that, the show has a very good story. if anyone who wants to know if this show is still good, read this review. because ill tell you that 95% of these bad reviews come from little fangirls who are mad because of the killing of a LGBT character or because their favorite character was killed. maybe both. people need to understand that thats just the dark nature of this show. Overall, this season definitely inst nearly as good as the first two, but it definitely doesn't deserve these ratings in the 5s, cmon guys. now for this episode. this episode is probably the best since episode 3 of the season, which was very good. the only problems that i have is abby somehow surviving the hanging and the episode doesn't end on that good of a cliffhanger. otherwise great episode. i will admit: characters dying every episode and the continuous use of torture are getting kind of old, but i don't think it takes away from the show.
Overall, i think we have a mob mentality where everyone is just conforming to the belief that this show is awful now, which just isn't the case. make your own opinion, cmon.

Why y'all mad tho
From where I am, it looks like people are mainly mad ab the direction of this show due to the killing of an LGBT character (granted she was a great character but hey the whole idea of this show is that survival ain't easy so get over it) and that the plot makes little sense at times. I'm here to offer my own opinion. From where I stand, the story is great. It really is. Pretty unpredictable, good characters and well-written. The problem that I have isn't the story itself, but why it's in this show. The first two seasons are my favorite TV seasons of all time because it's an epic tale of survival in a basically uncharted world. Very original and well thought out. This season however, turns the story into a robopocolypse story, and adds in mind controlled minions for good measure. What? What happened to the show that I loved, the epic story of survival against all odds and fighting for your people against an opponent they shouldn't be able to beat? That's what the show is SUPPOSED to be. I hope they can get back to the good writing and stories, I still have hope because of the whole story line at the beginning of the season, which was awesome and nerve-racking. Also chill about Luna she'll be back without a doubt.

How do you guys not like this ?
I'm usually the type of person to get mad when something doesn't directly follow the source material from books/comics, but I had absolutely no problem with this episode. Killing off the Canary shouldn't get in the way of this episode being great, as it was. Killing her off will probably just make the show better. Easily the best episode of the season: got rid of BY FAR the least likable character on the show, further showing how dark Merlyn still is, Damien Darhk was a badass for the first time since the first episode of the season, and the death scene was well done and acted by the cast. Course it barely makes this disaster of a season any better, and knowing this show Laurel will be back, but let's all just enjoy it while she's gone.
