No Time to Die (2021)
Bye bye mr Bond
Well, what can I say. This last installment of the Bond franchise made me feel like going to a funeral without an eulogy. No priest and no last rites to send it forever off. No respect for what it has come to signify for millions of fans all over the world the last 60 odd years. Cubby would have rolled over in his grave.
What's left? A handsomely made movie with a lump plot. After about three quarters into the movie, it really all falls apart. Sacrilege. Don't watch it if you are a Bond enthusiast.
Myth & Mogul: John DeLorean (2021)
A complete character assassination
Very unbalanced attempt to profile a man with huge ambitions. A very interesting, visionary, charismatic and provocative man challenging Big Auto during the late 70s early 80s bound to be stung by the deep. The Big Deep.
Masters of the Universe: Revelation (2021)
Kevin Smith 💩💩💩
Just terrible. It was impossible not to laugh my donkey off. If you are anything close to a fan of MotU and He-Man - stay away!
Crown Vic (2019)
Excellent cop movie
In these woke, BLM, Antifa and defund times, it's great to watch a good honest cop flick.
Loved this movie from the get-go!
Nice ambiance and Thomas Jane is awesome.
👍👍
Your Honor (2020)
Not close to the Israeli
Unconvincing acting and poorly development of the original story make it fall short of the original at every important point. Could have been good, as the Israeli series set an awesome standard, but this was a poor attempt. Cranston is way too one-dimensional for my taste. Always been. The series is of course doing the woke thing, and that would be ok if it succeeded to add and convey genuine substance. However, it doesn't. Falls right out flat.
Atlantic Crossing (2020)
Fake history
Fake history and the reluctance of the director and writers to take responsibility is deeply unsettling. This cloud have been an interesting story, however, as the major historical events are fake, it strands completely. I assume it is to once again write in women as more prominent in history, but as this "fake history" controversy is unfolding in the media in Norway, it not only fails but will question marks with all so-called historical series in the future.
Perry Mason (2020)
Yeah, let's continue ruining the classics
Statues must be torn down and history eradicated or rewritten. The last Agatha Christie "adoptions" are sacrilegious and without and respect for the material.
This series is following in the same track. I was very hopeful but with the woke dumbasses in charge, this is what one can expect.
However, the Lithgow and Rhys are both superb.
Bully. Coward. Victim: The Story of Roy Cohn (2019)
Worst so-called biographical documentary ever
Embarrassingly one sided affair from HBO. So biased it's laughable.
Wonder (2017)
Perfect on a Sunday afternoon
You just have to love this movie. It's much more than I anticipated, covering a variety of angles and comes together perfectly. Loved it (on a Sunday afternoon)!
Midsommar (2019)
Slow, strange and filmed far from Sweden
Firstly, I would like to say is that this is a boring movie. Secondly, it is supposed to be Sweden! Seriously?!? You couldn't find a better suited location in the US than Utah?It looks nothing like Sweden.
Lastly, spend your hard earned monies on something better than on this flick.
American Psycho (2000)
A masterpiece
I have probably watched this gem of a flick more than ten times. It is extremely well made. True craftsmanship all the way through. Obviously there are elements from the book missing but It doesn't take away the feeling that this movie is complete. I enjoy it like an excellent glass of aged scotch.
The Crown (2016)
Amazing
This is a true epic. The two first seasons are simply fantastic. Story, cinematography, acting, soundtrack. Just perfect.
I especially enjoy Princess Margaret´s and Prince Philip's stories and evolvement. Top notch acting!
Midnattssol (2016)
Are you serious? Oh yeah, Swedish
Well, main story is ok. Rest is just too Swedish. Too PC. Too Swedish. Just not real at all.
Stormare is always amazing!
Biography: The Trump Dynasty (2019)
Another one?
Can anyone truly say that this is a new take on the Trump story? Same bashing, same wrapping. Gets boring.
The Family (2019)
Could have been great but it's just more Trump-bashing
Gets a little creepy how much this is really nothing but a one-sided affair. Sad, because the basis for the story is really interesting.
The Loudest Voice (2019)
Could have been great
I love Russell Crowe and the cast is in general top shelf. The producers political agenda, however, is shining through way too strong and makes the show flatter and a vey one-sided affaire.
Amundsen (2019)
Not the hero movie it should have been
In these PC-days, a movie about a hero is made into a dull, slow moving internal anguish type study of the spineless brother of the great hero. Hope another director will make the great explorer justice in the future.
