No Such Thing as peaceful "Atom Bomb"
13 June 2020
There is no such thing as peaceful bombs. In name of national security, citizen's are suffering, poor are suffering. Defense budget is increasing every year and they cut on education budget. In which direction we are moving towards? THE NATIONALISM IS A GREAT MENACE. It is the particular thing which for years has been at the bottom of India's troubles. Looks like Godse's idea of undemocratic violent India is winning upon Gandhiji's idea of non-violent India. IT SHOULDN'T.

I cried when woman said "Devi ki Kiran se Jali hai (Part 1 )"
11 June 2020
In a politically polarized world, universal ideals are rare. In India, as elsewhere, the vacuum is filled by religious zeal. Minorities are made scapegoats of every calamity as nations subdivide into religious and ethnic zones, each seemingly eager to annihilate the other or extinguish itself on the altar of martyrdom. FATHER, SON AND HOLY WAR explores in two parts the possibility that the psychology of violence against "the other" may lie in male insecurity, itself an inevitable product of the very construction of "manhood."

Why People are not aware of Patwardhan Sir's Masterpieces?
11 June 2020
Only 1 Review and 60 review. Is this all for the masterpiece? Documentary shows exact reality of Today's India. The state-funded suppression of Free Voice and Rationality with help of some religious fundamentalists.

I decided to re-watch this movie when I was with my younger siblings, because I was of their age when I watched this movie. It is so fun, and horror at the same time. It is very though provoking movie. very very nice movie to watch. I also listed it as "My 50 Most favourite Hindi Movies". Do see the list.

Changed my Perspective
8 June 2020
I started watching Anand Patwardhan's documentary movies in 2020 Lockdown. And it affected me very deeply. It changed my perspective, my views, my ignorance. I never felt or never allow myself to know the atrocities by Upper Caste Hindus, the condition of caste system that still persist in India. Indians are busy condemning George Floyd's death, Racism in US. What about India itself. Indian needs to see within itself.

Fact:- Jai Bhim Comrade is Anand Sir's 14 years continues investigative research documentary Movie.

Rewatching 4th Time
8 June 2020
I have seen 3 of Anand Patwardhan's Documentaries. And decided to go back and watch again this Film. I am shooked by this documentary. How terribly the non-issue was made to the biggest issue (over Employment, Poverty, education etc) in India only to gain Money and power. The current BJP government ruined the social fabric of India. & I still regret voting for them in 2019 knowing nothing about their reality. Thankyou Anand Patwardhan sir, for your great journalism and investigations. I loved your documentary. Great work.

First I loved this movie but...
2 June 2019
At first watch, I loved this movie so much but after been in though for some time, It was just a stylist manner of filmmaking, nothing charming and attractive. No offense, I loved the acting and direction. If some more character development and details are added it would have good. Overall if you like to watch some rare gems of bollywood then this movie is for you. Its not just a typical bollywood romance movie. One thing I loved about this movie is " 'Using of Silence' & 'Show, Don't Tell" method of direction.

Full of Performance Gems, but all in vain
4 September 2018
This movie contains some great actors, who gave good performances but unfortunately this stands out a comic movie. No seriously I mean it. Comic in sense of directorial nonsense. No Story, No Screenplay just stretching the scenes. The only reason I watched this movie till end because the performances. Just it.

Good Performances But Poorly directed movie
4 September 2018
I watched this movie because of Kay Kay Menon Only. I have no interest in Medical movies. Still I found that movie has a very strong script but director ruined all. One time watch if you want to see some hospital drama.

Combination of Extraordinary Performance & Superb Cinematography
4 September 2018
I got to know that this movie is copied from "A Few Good Men" (inspired you say), but who cares we want good movies and this stands out a great movie. Unlike other Indian military movies it is not about the war and struggle but it is a court-drama which is beautifully crafted by the director. I would like to congratulate the Cinematographer who captured the film very well. Here I don't have to mention about the Kay Kay Menon's Acting skills. You really made me feel with your performance, Sir.
