Lost opportunity
10 October 2021
Although the premise of this show presented as a wonder opportunity to see the contrasting culture, sadly the production went more for shock value. They chose a non-typical family. For example, most adults leave home before the age of eighteen in Britain. They chose a family, with the oldest daughter still living with her parents at 29. She also had more clothes and shoes than anyone I know. The dad was a self-proclaimed 'man's man'. It was just odd.
