I am a huge fan of political thrillers and barring a handful, Indian cinema hasn't been able to produce one of a top notch quality with the highest production values, finest performances, nail biting thrill and a satisfying experience of watching a fine film. Article 370 gives you all of that and much more, for it is based on the actual subject of abrogation of Article 370 from the Indian Constitution and the events leading up to it.

The research gone into the film is excellent and explained to the audience in such a lucid and simple manner which is a big win for the makers. There could be certain portions which have been fictionalised but that doesn't hamper the narrative and the facts. Most filmmakers tend to abuse 'Cinematic liberty' and don't realise as to where to stop. The director does realise that creates a world which is believable and factual.

I'm of the opinion that this film must be watched by every Indian.

This is my first ever review since I joined in 2007. I walked out of watching Animal - First day first show !

The film had a delirious effect on the audience in the theatre at large. I went through a gamut of emotions, from Sympathy to fear to an overwhelming sense of parenthood. I have a 9 year old son and today itself I scolded him before he left for school and I ended up weeping multiple times.

A good film carries you along with you. A shoutout to the director; especially the way Sikhism has been hailed and presented. It took a director from the South to celebrate the valour of the Sikhs.

It is always a treat to watch powerful actors performing powerful scenes together. Those scenes between Anil Kapoor and Ranbir Kapoor have a lasting impact.

The violence is shock inducing and raw. The action sequences and the Background score throws you into the depth of its pit.

I am certain that this film will have me go again into the theatre.

This is my first review ever since joining IMDb in 2006. I felt compelled to express myself after watching ASPIRANTS.

TVF has proved that if you want to make highest grade content, then you don't need the crutches of big stars or crap film production houses.

Aspirants encompasses every thing that you expect from a well made series.

TVF has raised the bar for itself. I'm looking forward to what it comes with next.
