Kung Fu Panda 4 (2024)
How to ruin a movie 101
How to ruin a movie 101. Well first off very important might just be the most important step out of all of them put aqau flipping fina in it and actually that would all ready be enough to ruin it. But if you would like to upgrade to extreme levels of ruining the movie slap mr beast in their as well especially when you have esteemed actors in their like Dustin hoffman and viola Davis do not be afraid to put that Mr beast in there. And just really make them feel like they don't even matter that a YouTuber is working on the same project as viola Davis and Dustin Hoffman whoever came up with that idea should totally pull a chandler in a jacuzzi. Idc if this is going overboard the first two are very special to me and the third one has its moments but now your just defficating on these movies and what they meant.
Creed III (2023)
Not bad, not great
I enjoyed creed 3, but it felt very empty without even mentioning rocky. It also felled a little rushed and it just didn't carry any weight. Imo the worst Creed film, not to say it's bad just not great. And I feel like diamond Damien's character was done no justice. I would've liked it more if Donny lost. And they made Creed 3 a 2 parter. And then maybe made creed 4 as the final film in the Creed saga. I would've loved to see Sylvester's vision of creed 3, oh well no use crying over spilled milk. And the movie doesn't really feel like a cohesive story more like it was written scene by scene. I also didn't like that Donny can just retire for 3 years come back and win like it's nothing. Even tho his training was nothing special, nothing new and he didn't even have Rocky this time witch always felt like the deciding factor in the past films. But while your watching the movie you won't care about most of those things and that's saying something about how good it still is. Not bad just felt like it could've been so much more.
Lake Mungo (2008)
If you didn't like the movie, please read my take on the story
First off the films meaning is left up for interpretation. This is done deliberately so that 100 people can see this movie and we'd have a 100 different story's. I think the writer/director did that to get the people talking about his movie. And hey it worked. Normally I don't like this kind of writing but i think in this one it works a little better then in most but I would've still liked a more conclusive ending.
Now here's my genius take on the movie, prepare to have your mind blown!
The old pictures we see in the beginning of people from the past with ghostly figures in the fotos while we hear Alice talking about her own demise, are her ancestors on her mothers side. The woman on her mothers side sometimes develop telepathic abilities, think of the boy and his dad from insidious that are able to travel to the further realm in their dreams because of these abilities. However I think they decided to no longer develop the gift or tell the children about them and just let them fade with age. Since developing it could be dangerous and allow unwanted spirits to make contact and perhaps more. For example posses the telepath and have them do their terrible bidding like in insidious! I think Alice unconsciously developed her abilities from when she was a child and became a rather strong telepath. I also think this theory is supported by the movie depicting her as a outcast and people not really knowing her. And somewhere before or at lake mungo a strong evil spirit or demon even perhaps, made contact with her. Probably posing as a non thread at first to convince her to let it in. I also think the distorted face we see after she drowned and in the video is the face of the spirit/demon. She then tried to get help from other so called telepaths like that Ray Kemini guy but he's a total fake as we learn throughout the movie, unlike her and her mother who are the real deal. Then when she realizes that she is unable to stop the evil from taking over her body and probably doing horrible things withit, most probably hurting her family or worse. She decides to stop that from ever happening the only way she knew how. By giving her own life. So that the possession can never be completed. This is why her face looks like that when they find her body. The evil spirit/demon was angry and desperately trying to take over in her final moments. But her quick thinking probably saved her entire family and who knows who else. I think this theory is supported even more in the final moments of the film when she and her mother are able to communicate with each other through different time lines once again like in insidious. But her mother having never developed her abilities is unable to see her daughter, only feel her presence. Supported by the fact that Alice says I don't think she can see me. And i think Alice was able to leave clues behind she knew her family would find, because of her strong telepathic abilities. However the family isn't able to put 2 and 2 together and figure out what really happened. This is why Alice is unable to find closure and we see her in the window just before her family leaves. Incredibly well written story and extremely sad but also super cool and Alice was a total badass! And maybe someday when another family moves there and begins expierencing strange fenomena they hire a true telepath that will finally be able to give Alice the closure she deserves!
That's my take on the movie and I think the best possible version of the movie anyone can expierence and i was sad to find that no one came to this conclusion online not even populair ending explainers like screenrant.
Well that's it for me guys, have a wonderful day and hope that someone like Alice keeps you safe from the dark and unseen!
Aterrados (2017)
Sudden very loud sounds
Even tho I think the movie is a little better then a 2, I will not forgive cheap jump scares! Something that isn't scary will be tried to make scary by incredibly high volume music that just starts out of nowhere. I hate it, I hate it, I hate it when movies do that! As for the story, paper thin. Actors are pretty good tho. I guess really my biggest grudge against the movie are the cheap jump scare mechanisms. If you like horror movies you should still definitely give this one a try it's not a 2 because it isn't scary or interesting, it has some stuff going for it. Be sure to Chek it out if you're fan of the genre. I just can not bring myself to forgive those incredibly cheap tricks.
Hell House LLC III: Lake of Fire (2019)
The dumbest horror movie characters in history
Its official guys the dumbest horror movie characters to have ever existed are in this movie. Maybe even the dumbest characters ever created in any kind of story book, film or otherwise. I am really trying to turn my brain off and enjoy this one like I did with the first one but the amount of sheer stupidity in this movie is so profound that it makes movies like black Adam, red notice and uncharted seem like Oscar winners. Is it to much to ask that the writers simply ask themselves hmm what would a real person do in this situation. Your focus will be broken countless times throughout because of the dumbest decisions in the history of fiction. If it sounds like I'm overreacting, I really wish I was..
Hell House LLC (2015)
Its effective overall, but..
And there is a giant but coming. I know that the movie needs to happen but anytime characters make irrational decisions it just takes me out of the movie. And there is just no way in hell, (no pun intended) that people would see the things the cast is seeing and not make giant news out of it. It's beyond ridiculous truly is. That part of the movie is faker then the ghosts. Imagine filming actual apparitions and not tell anyone outside of your little friend group about it, it just doesn't make sense. And I don't like to point out problems if I don't have solutions for them. The first 2 apparitions go sort of unnoticed. If the director would've just kept that stig going until it was to late, this movie would've had a lot less stupid horror movie character stereotypes going on. And the biggest joke of all is they catch it on camera yeah, they actually catch the sightings on camera and proceed to do whatever they where planning to do like stuff like that just happens sometimes. Incredibly stupid beyond dumb I really have to restrain myself to not use the R word here, but if you can get past that descent and effective found footage horror flick.
South Park: Spring Break (2023)
Waiste of a perfectly good Andrew tate episode
I liked the rick and mr garrison part of the story but I feel like it could've used a whole episode. And the part with randy I feel like they could've easily done a full episode about Randy's pc background and that loser Andrew tate. And I would've actually liked it more if randy was against him. Furthermore I really feel like this could've been one of the few episodes where Sharon really got a chance to shine but she didn't. I did like the message tho, I know people like that. They just can't live normal lives without their partners. Their homes become messes their lives lose substance they just go out drinking every chance they get. So all in all it's descent not laught out loud funny with a good message. Oh and I don't know anything about warhammer 40k I am a gamer just never got in to it so can't comment on that.
American Dad!: You Are Here (2022)
Tuttle is dead and a ghost confirmed
Love the show, descent episode. But did they just confirm that Al Tuttle is dead and a ghost? I believe tuttle had been dead for some time now. And that the family just sees his ghost every now and then. Thats my theory at least, hè is in the episode where Stan goes in the tv and ends up in that black and white tv-show with the jazz music. That keeps airing the same episode over and over. Stan starts to lose his mind and nobody else believes him or had ever seen that tv-show eccept for tuttle I believe tuttle is allready dead at this point and that Stan just made him up to not go completely crazy or its tuttles ghost. I think tuttle dies in the episode with the father son camp activitys. Where tuttle pairs up with snot vs Stan and steve. And tuttle gets eaten by that Huge fish monster I believe tuttle dies here and when they kill the fish and supposedly get him back at the end I believe that that is a halucination because they cant except that tuttle died because of there fuede. And every time after that, that you see him hè is a ghost or a halucination.
The Green Knight (2021)
Had to make a account to warn people
I use imdb on a daily basis and have so for the past 3 to 4 years however i have never felt the need to review a movie until this one. This movie is a great example of style over substance. Please do not pay to watch this movie, dont watch it at all. But if you have to see it watch it on youre laptop and skip trough it. It looks pretty (at times), has some good acting but the way that it is written for the screen is just soooooooo bad. And on the rare occasion the movie does grip you for a few seconds, it loses its grip immediatly with the long drawn out lifeless sequence that follows.
To sum this movie up i would call it a movie without a heartbeat.
