Life of Pi (2012)
Epic tale
This was such a difference from normal films with a cookie cutter copy and paste plot. The number of intense and realistic movements in this film is truly too many to count on the first watch. This movie had been out for quite some time and after a recommendation from my brother I finally decided to give it a try, I have a very high standard when it comes to serious films, horror movies and comedy movies I tend to have more of a cushion for. Life of Pi was undoubtedly one of the single greatest epic coming of age stories I have ever experienced in film format. Every second of this film made me feel a very real emotional connection with the main character. Truly an underrated gem now that i have watched it 10 years after its release.
Men in Black: International (2019)
9 stars? What planet are you from?
I see people giving this God awful movie 8 and 9 stars and it's confusing. 9 stars is something you give to a Best Picture caliber movie not one that might sneak in a nomination for best makeup. This is just flat out disrespectful to the original MIB. I wish we could all erase this from our memories as easy as they do it in the movie because this is NOT MIB. The last MIB was the 3rd one. This doesn't count, we'll call it "fan fiction". The only reason I gave it 2 stars is because 1 star is Sharkboy and Lavagirl and this is just slightly better.... slightly
Trailer Park Boys: The Animated Series (2019)
Must Watch
I'm seeing way to many low reviews from people who saw "Trailer Park Boys Animated" and decided to give it 1 star before even watching it. Don't judge this show because they're transitioning to animation. It's actually a really funny show just a shame to see so many die hard TPB fans just to the conclusion that it must suck.
Us (2019)
What?
This movie was so confusing. When I saw the trailer I really wanted to see it but when I finally saw it, I was disappointed. It seems like they made this movie without property thinking about the actual plot.
The Passion of the Christ (2004)
Offsetting atheists
No way in hell this movie should be under 8 stars. Too many atheists with nothing better to do and an atrocious metascore rating that's based on personal religious beliefs or lack there of. Roger Ebert gave it 100 and some tool from the New Yorker had the audacity to give it a 30? Ridiculous
Walk Hard: The Dewey Cox Story (2007)
Most underrated comedy
I would give it 9 stars but I gave 10 because it's entirely underrated on IMDB. Quite possibly the 2nd funniest John C. Reilly performance behind only Step Brothers. More people need to see this movie, I watched it for the first time yesterday and I've never written a review but I felt compelled to when I saw the low rating. Truly a hidden gem
Our Cartoon President (2018)
Made for Left TV
The only reviews over 3 stars are people who are still butthurt from 2016. I didn't even vote for Trump and I think this is BS. This NEVER would've been made about Obama and it's just propaganda. It makes me crazy because the only reason he won in 2016 was the media and the common people seeing how corrupted Hollywood is. As a die hard Democrat please stop airing this. You're only making it easier for him to win a re election.

The Prodigy (2019)
Left Wanting More
Yes, there were moments when I found myself saying "really?" (Like most cheesy horror movies) But the story of a serial killer reincarnated into a young boy is one which I find myself wanting more. With the storyline and obvious setup for a second movie I can't help but find myself wanting more from this movie. At times the obvious "stupid" moments like leaving the book out in plain sight and telling the boy that they were taking him to an institution seemed almost like they were looking for a reason to move the plot along became almost cringe worthy, but the bare bones of a great storyline still remain. With the boy now in a new home and completely taken over by the serial killer it leaves me wanting a conclusion to the plot. While not worthy of an Oscar nomination by a long shot, the bare bones of the story create a dark and sinister narration in which I can't help but want to know what will happen next in the saga of "Miles". There were times in which I found myself feeling as if maybe there could be a happy ending but alas this was no fairy tale story. A dark and suspenseful tale, "The Prodigy" is a psychological thriller which takes two things, the innocence of a child, and the evil of a serial killer and merges them together in a way that will leave you with goosebumps and questions galore. Overall not the best horror movie but good enough to leave the audience with cold chills and a curiousity of what will become of this serial killer trapped in a child's body and whether or not he will ever be stopped.
Isn't It Romantic (2019)
Offensive
In a world where people are quick to point out 'over sexualization of women" this movie is quite disgusting. For example: the scene in which she tackles a half naked man to the ground on order to have sex with him would've never been okay if the genders were reversed. Sickening and truly shows what a double standard really is
