Great mixture of a crime and drama, fascinating cinematography, depressing and dark atmosphere, interesting monologs and humour, good narration and beautiful saxophone melodies. For a moment, i thought this would be my favorite movie of all time. But then unfortunately second part came. There is no crime anymore, yes california dreamin. Too long for no reason, yes california dreamin. Our guy is policeman again but there is no any police work, yes california dreamin (i like the song and i see it has a meaning in the movie but at least a few times it played unnecessarily and abusing like this kinda annoying. I ask to myself these 2 dumbs don't know any other song). In general, i think the first story is more interesing than the second one by far. I don't know man when i found this movie i saw the crime tag and i expected to see it in all movie not 40 minutes. Maybe i can find what i expect in fallen angels. Btw IMDb tags are not proper enough. Anyway i give 10 rating to the first part and give 6 to the second part of the movie. Because second part has interesting monologs, cinematography and narration as well.

Although the last action sequence is weak, this is a great movie in every way. If we consider the year of the movie it's quite normal but i guess it might be better. By the way, action is weak but not awful. Still better than kill bill first movie action sequence. At least the enemies are real enemy. They are not a sandbag or sword target dummy.

It would be great if this is an original idea but it's not. This is literally just a copy, paste from stay (movie). Also stay is not very original. Because it has some jacob's ladder (movie) influences. But they are just influences. This episode is literally same as stay. Don't get me wrong, i like this show, at least some episodes of it. Normally they take a lot of inspirations from different works that i know. But this time they take the easy way out and copy it.

If this was my 10th movie, i might be impressed. But, unfortunately that is not the case and this movie is highly predictable. When especially this is directed by machinist's director. Apparently he used almost same archetype in this movie too. Therefore i predict almost everything before it starts and mystery of the movie didn't seem too mysterious to me this time.
