In response to the reviewer "1/10 Utter crap", I will state that I don't know anyone who had anything to do with this movie.

That said, I throughly enjoyed this. It had more than a few laughs which is a refreshing feeling, as most "funny" movies usually aren't that funny.

And Blind Gertrude aka Regina (Allison Andreas) stole the show. She was hilarious. And the rest of the group held their own. The plot was nothing new, but it rarely is nowadays, but it was passable. As a first time movie, that pushed it from a 9 to a 10. Keep them coming Mr. Covell.

Will this win an Oscar? NO Will it give you a bunch of laughs? YOU BETCHA

I enjoyed this very much. I know it's listed as horror but it extremely humorous. Between the cops joking about early retirement to the tiki's garbled sounds, I got quite a few really good laughs. Plus the actor playing the drama teacher looked like he was gonna start laughing quite a few times.

It is a very very low budget film but that doesn't mean that you can't enjoy it. And I did enjoy it.

The computer "nerds" are much smarter than I am. To be able to get so far into Magnotta's head to figure out clues from movies and serial killer/victims. Granted, they had over a year to do so, but still pretty damn impressive. I thought to myself that his acting career didn't take off because he was not very good. But by the time it was over I would have given him an Oscar for acting and another one for his screenplay/story. Like I said, those nerds are pretty damn smart. I hope that twisted Magnotta never gets out of prison but it is Canada where a life sentence doesn't mean life. And that's a shame. But he might be surprised to find out that a lot of convicts really have no respect for abusers of the defenseless and that includes animals.

Sure, this movie is cute, funny and very entertaining but the underlying truth is that this how our society has become. A snowflake minority makes a loud racket and certain groups of our citizens become outcasts because of their actions or what they believe. You have guns, you must be someone who might be dangerous or your some kind of threat to society (Franny getting searched at the mall by a rent-a-cop just because she has been singled out by some government agency and publicly shamed by being forced to wear a scarlet letter). Smokers were made pariahs, some began vaping and now government groups wish to do the same thing, saying they are protecting people from themselves. This movie was loads of fun but look to the underlying truths and they are scary for our country and the world in general. If you enjoyed this movie then check out IDIOCRACY (2006), very funny but the underlying truths are even more worrisome.

This is a no-slasher, little-gore, story driven tale. Josh Stewart is excellent in his role as the low or no scruples banker, who spins out of control (aided by liberal amounts of liquor) and who finds after one murder, more killing gets easier. Frank Whaley does a fine job as the easygoing, laid-back local boy sheriff trying to piece the multiple murders together. If you would like a good old-fashioned ghost story, then this is a good one.

I have watched many documentaries on WW2 and the nazism. This is one of the best I've ever seen about the post-war hunts, trials and more hunts to bring war criminals to justice. Some of the situations will boggle your mind, like how a person can be sentenced to life in France for decades but can't be extradited from Germany. Or how hundreds of war criminals could hide in plain sight, under their own names for decades and then be upset when they are called out for their past actions. Or thinking because it was so long ago that they should be treated like their actions never happened. A very excellent documentary and worth your time.

This is a well crafted, fast paced thriller. Acting is top-notch and the story is character driven. David Tennant is superb as the rich egotistical psychopath. If you want a hold on to your seat thriller, then you have to watch this gem by Dean Devlin.

Don't even waste your time as this indie, neither scary nor even mildly interesting. The entire movie is about one guy telling the other how good-looking, talented and special he is. And he is none of the above. But he is a d**chebag of the first order. You'll find yourself wishing that the clowns would hurry up and kill him! I truly wish I could have given it a negative number rating.
